The Denmark women's national handball team is the national team of Denmark. It is governed by the Danish Handball Federation (DHF).
Gro Hammerseng-Edin is a Norwegian former handballer who last played for the club Larvik HK. She was captain of the Norwegian national team for several years, and in 2007 she was voted female World Handball Player of the Year.
Cecilie Leganger is a Norwegian retired handballer. Regarded as one of the greatest goalkeepers of all time, Leganger won the 1998 European Championship and the 1999 World Championship with the Norwegian national team, and received the IHF World Player of the Year award in 2001.
Anita Görbicz is a Hungarian former professional handballer who played for Győri ETO KC and the Hungary national team. She is widely regarded as one of the best handball players of all time, and was voted IHF World Player of the Year in 2005 by the International Handball Federation. Görbicz has also been given the nickname the Queen of Handball internationally.
Katja Johanna Alice Nyberg is a naturalized Norwegian former handball player. She played 99 games and scored 321 goals for the Norwegian national team during her career. With the Norwegian team she won a gold medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing and a silver medal at the 2007 World Women's Handball Championship in France, as well as two gold medals and one silver medal at the European Championships.
Valérie Nicolas is a French handball goalkeeper and former player of the French national team. She became World Champion in 2003 with the French team, and was also voted Most Valuable Player and Best Goalkeeper. She was voted into the All-Star Team in the 2007 World Championship. Among her other triumphs are a silver medal from the World Championships, two bronze medals from the European Championships, victories at the Champions League, the EHF Cup, the Cup Winners' Cup, and both French and Danish national championships.
Tonje Larsen is a retired Norwegian handballer who played for the Norwegian national team. She is Olympic champion, World champion and three times European champion. As a club player she is several times Norwegian champion and once Danish champion, and has won the EHF Cup, EHF Cup Winners' Cup and the EHF Champions League.
Camilla Røseler Andersen is a former Danish team handball player, two times Olympic champion and a World champion. She received gold medals with the Danish national team at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta and at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. She is widely regarded as one of the best players Danish handball has ever seen. With 846 goals she has scored the most goals in the Danish Women's national team, ever and she has played the 4th most matches on the national team.
Rikke Erhardsen Skov is a former Danish team handball player and Olympic champion. She received a gold medal with the Danish national team at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. A loyal player of Viborg HK, Skov joined the club yet as a teenager in 1994 and it remained her lone team till she retired in 2016 and retired from active sports when she became pregnant in February 2017.
Josephine Touray is a former Danish team handball player and Olympic champion of Gambian descent. She played mainly as a right wing. Over the course of her career she played 123 games for the Danish national team, where she scored 383 goals. She played for the clubs: Bjerringbro KFUM, Viborg HK, KIF Kolding, Ikast-Bording EH, FCK Håndbold, Frederiksberg IF and SK Aarhus, all in Denmark. She received a gold medal with the Danish national team at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens.

She won a gold medal with the Danish national team at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. Four years later she won a gold medal with the Danish national team at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. She also won the 1997 World Cup in Germany.
