He also gained international recognition for his work with director Anurag Kashyap in Black Friday (2007), the Gangs of Wasseypur (2012) duology, and Raman Raghav 2.0 (2016).

Mina Walking is a 2015 Canadian-Afghani drama film written and directed by Yosef Baraki. It was screened in the Generation 14+ section of the 65th Berlin International Film Festival where it competed for the Crystal Bear.

Narges Abyar Iranian film director, author, and screenwriter

Narges Abyar is an Iranian film director, author and screenwriter, best known for directing Track 143, Breath, and When the Moon Was Full. The film Track 143 is adapted from Abyar's novel titled The Third Eye narrating the story of a woman and her son during the time of war. Her films sensitively picture the sufferings of women and children caused by the society, war or radicalism.

<i>Flee</i> (film) 2021 animated documentary film

Flee is a 2021 Danish adult animated documentary film directed by Jonas Poher Rasmussen. It follows the story of a man under the alias Amin Nawabi, who shares his hidden past of fleeing his home country of Afghanistan to Denmark for the first time. Riz Ahmed and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau serve as executive producers and narrators for the English-language dub version.
