Judith Wiesner is a former professional tennis player from Austria. During her career, she won five top-level singles titles and three tour doubles titles. Her career high rankings were world No. 12 in singles, and No. 29 in doubles. In 1996, Wiesner was a quarterfinalist at both Wimbledon and the US Open.
The Israel women's national tennis team is the representative national team of Israel in Fed Cup competition. In the 2007 Fed Cup, they qualified from the World Group II and World Group Play-offs to reach the elite World Group for the first time in the team's history. They will participate within this group at the 2008 Federation Cup.
The 1994 Federation Cup was the 32nd edition of the most important competition between national teams in women's tennis. Spain defeated the United States in the final, giving Spain their 3rd and 2nd consecutive title.
