Belmont University is a Christian university in Nashville, Tennessee. The university was called Belmont College for Young Women from 1890 to 1913; Ward-Belmont College from 1913 to 1951, and Belmont College from 1951 to 1991. Following are some of its notable alumni.

Lipscomb University is a private Christian university in Nashville, Tennessee. It is affiliated with the Churches of Christ. The campus is located in the Green Hills neighborhood of Nashville; it also maintains one satellite location called "Spark" in Downtown Nashville to serve the business community. Total student enrollment for the fall 2022 semester was 4,704, which included 2,955 undergraduate students and 1,749 graduate students. Lipscomb has been rated the #3 Best College in Tennessee.

Alabama has played a central role in the development of both blues and country music. Appalachian folk music, fiddle music, gospel, spirituals, and polka have had local scenes in parts of Alabama. The Tuskegee Institute's School of Music, especially the Tuskegee Choir, is an internationally renowned institution. There are three major modern orchestras, the Mobile Symphony, the Alabama Symphony Orchestra and the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra; the last is the oldest continuously operating professional orchestra in the state, giving its first performance in 1955.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Coronado High School (Lubbock, Texas)</span> Public school in Texas, U.S.

Coronado High School is the second newest high school in the Lubbock Independent School District. Coronado, named for the Spanish conquistador and explorer Francisco Vásquez de Coronado, opened its doors in 1965 as the fourth high school in Lubbock, joining the list of Lubbock High, Monterey High and Dunbar High. Estacado was built two years after Coronado opened, in 1967. The mascot of the school is the Mustang and the school colors are Scarlet and Old Gold. Like the other high schools in Lubbock ISD, Coronado discontinued its block scheduling in the 2012–13 academic calendar. and went to an every class every day schedule. The school serves the southwestern part of Lubbock, Texas. The Coronado male sports teams are known as the "Mustangs" with the female teams referred to as the "Lady Mustangs".

<i>Telemiracle</i> Annual telethon in Saskatchewan, Canada

Telemiracle is an annual telethon organized by the Kinsmen and Kinettes in Saskatchewan, Canada, for the benefit of the Kinsmen Foundation. Initially broadcast on both CTV and CBC affiliates in Saskatchewan, it is now broadcast, commercial-free, exclusively on the province's CTV affiliates–CKCK in Regina, CFQC in Saskatoon, CIPA in Prince Albert and CICC in Yorkton.
