This is a list of notable Brazilian film directors born in Brazil or who have established Brazilian citizenship or residency.
The 15th Pan-American Games were held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, between 13 July 2007 and 29 July 2007. The Brazilian delegation consisted of 659 athletes and 267 directors, making a total of 926 people in 41 sports. Competing in their own country, the Brazilian athletes managed to far surpass their own record number of Gold, Silver and Bronze medals obtained in a single edition of the Pan-American Games.
The Brazil men's national water polo team represents Brazil in international men's water polo competitions and friendly matches.
Casos e Acasos is a series of Brazilian TV Globo Network, written by Daniel Adjafre and Marcius Melhem, the general direction of Carlos Milan core of Marcos Schechtman and Jayme Monjardim. First aired as a special year-end on December 26, 2007, the program went live April 3, 2008 and no longer appears in the following year.
Premiere is a Brazilian television channel on pay-per-view broadcasts the main football State Championships in Brazil, and the Brazilian Championship Série A and Série B. Being part of Canais Globo, it is present in SKY, Claro TV and Vivo TV, and some operators outside the country, such as MEO and NOS. From 1997 to 2006 it was called Premiere Esportes, switching to Premiere Futebol Clube and then to PFC, but in 2011 moved again, this time to Premiere FC, and finally to Premiere starting in 2013.

In 2015, the Brazilian Film Critics Association (Abraccine) published a list with the 100 best Brazilian films ever according to the votes of its members. This poll was the basis for a book named The 100 Best Brazilian Films, published in 2016. The idea of the ranking and the book was suggested by publisher Letramento, with whom Abraccine and television network Canal Brasil co-released the book. The ranking was done based on individual lists done by Abraccine's 100 critics, who initially mentioned 379 films. The full list was first made available to the public on 26 November 2015, and the book was released on 1 September 2016.
Por Toda Minha Vida is a Brazilian television series produced and broadcast by Rede Globo. His first episode aired on December 28, 2006. It is the Brazilian television series with the most nominations to the Emmy Award.
The Trófeu Raça Negra is a Brazilian award which is handed out to individuals and groups who have contributed or exhibited advancements for Afro-Brazilians. Organized by the NGO Afrobras, it was first handed out in 2000 on the 500th anniversary of the European arrival in Brazil, and has been held annually since 2004. It is similar to the NAACP Image Award in the United States.
