It is the only university in Canada in a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, at the centre of Canada's Niagara Peninsula on the Niagara Escarpment. Bismarck State College (BSC) is a public college in Bismarck, North Dakota. It is the third largest college in the North Dakota University System with 3,781 students as of September 2016. Established in 1939, it is a comprehensive community college that offers the first two years of education toward a bachelor's degree in most fields as well as 20+ bachelor's degree and several undergraduate programs in conjunction with other university system institutions. Sean Ian Pierson is a retired Canadian mixed martial artist. A professional from 1999 until 2013, he fought for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and Bellator.

Samir Trabelsi is an academic researcher, economist and professor of accounting and governance at the Goodman School of Business of Brock University. Trabelsi began teaching at Goodman School of Business in 2004. In 2021, he was awarded the title of Distinguished Scholar by CPA Ontario. Prior to his academic career, Trabelsi practiced public accounting at KPMG Tunisia.

Jeff Burch is a Canadian politician, who was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario in the 2018 provincial election. He represents the electoral district of Niagara Centre as a member of the Ontario New Democratic Party.

Tracy Schmitt is a Canadian athlete and motivational speaker. As a quadruple amputee, she won a bronze medal in alpine downhill para-skiing at the Ontario Parasport Games and was inducted into the Canadian Disability Hall of Fame.

Soheila Esfahani is an Iranian-born artist and educator, working in Canada. She is an assistant professor at University of Western Ontario. Esfahani is known for her installation art and sculptures.
