HNK Hajduk Split, commonly referred to as Hajduk Split or simply Hajduk, is a professional Croatian football club founded in 1911, and based in the city of Split. Since 1979, the club's home ground has been the 35,000-seat Stadion Poljud. The team's traditional home colours are white shirts with blue shorts and blue socks. Hajduk is by far the most popular football club in Croatia, having support from all corners of the country. A lot of support comes from abroad as well, not only from Croatian natives, but foreign fans as well.
Blaž "Baka" Slišković is a Bosnian professional football manager and former player. He is the current consultant of Hong Kong Premier League club Kitchee, having previously served as the club's manager.
Ivan "Iko" Buljan is Croatian sport manager and a former Yugoslavian footballer, who played as a defender. He was a member of the Yugoslavia squad at the 1974 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 1976.
Jurica "Jure" Jerković was a Croatian footballer who played as an attacking midfielder. During his time with Hajduk Split in the 1970s, he was known for his amazing playmaker skills and for his romantic approach to football. He captained the Hajduk golden generation of that time under coach Tomislav Ivić which is considered to be the best Hajduk squad of all time.
Frane Matošić was a Croatian football player and coach. Born in Split, he played at the position of striker. He is regarded as one of Hajduk Split's greatest players ever where he is the all-time leading goalscorer.
Ljubomir "Ljubo" Kokeza was Croatian football player that played for both Hajduk Split and Yugoslavia in the 1940s and 1950s.
Nenad Gračan is a Croatian former professional footballer who played as a central midfielder, and is now a manager who most recently managed the Croatia national under-21 football team.
Petar Nadoveza is a Croatian former football player and former manager. During his playing spell at Hajduk he was nicknamed "Pere, splitski Pele" which meant "Pete, the Pelé from Split".
Sergije Krešić is a retired Croatian football manager and former player. Krešić coached a number of lower level sides in Spain, where he is known by the name Sergio Kresic.
Goran Blažević, nicknamed Šiljo, is a Croatian football goalkeeper.
