Medaka Box is a Japanese manga series written by Nisio Isin and illustrated by Akira Akatsuki. It was serialized in Shueisha's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump between May 2009 and April 2013, with its chapters collected in 22 tankōbon volumes. The series follows Medaka Kurokami, Zenkichi Hitoyoshi, Kouki Akune and Mogana Kikaijima, who are the members of the student council, during their various adventures to honor suggestions presented by academy members in order to better the academy.

The third season of Haikyu!! anime television series, titled Haikyū!! Karasuno High School vs Shiratorizawa Academy, is produced by Production I.G. and directed by Susumu Mitsunaka, with Taku Kishimoto handling series composition, Takahiro Kishida providing character designs, and Yuki Hayashi and Asami Tachibana composed the music. It adapted the second half of the "Spring High Preliminary" story arc, with the exception of chapters 191–206 from the original manga series of the same name written by Haruichi Furudate. The season aired from October 8 to December 10, 2016. Sentai Filmworks has also licensed the third season.
The fourth and final season of Haikyu!! anime television series, titled Haikyū!! To the Top, is produced by Production I.G. and Masako Satō replaced Susumu Mitsunaka as director, with the returning staff from the previous seasons. The season was announced at the Jump Festa '19 event, with a "kickoff event" for the new series being held on September 22, 2019. It adapted the first half of "Tokyo Nationals" story arc from the original manga series of the same name written by Haruichi Furudate. The fourth season premiered on January 11, 2020 on the Super Animeism block. It ran for 25 episodes, with the first cour running weekly from January 11 to April 4, 2020; the second cour was supposed to air in July 2020 but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The second cour aired from October 3 to December 19, 2020. Crunchyroll simulcasted the fourth season.

Shoyo Hinata is a fictional character and the main protagonist of the manga series Haikyu!! created by Haruichi Furudate. Shoyo is a high school student who wishes to become like the "Little Giant," a former Karasuno High School student and volleyball club member. To achieve his dream, he decides to join Karasuno, but to join the volleyball team he and Tobio Kageyama, a previous volleyball match opponent, must overcome their rivalry and work together.
Haikyu!! The Dumpster Battle is a 2024 Japanese animated sports film written and directed by Susumu Mitsunaka and produced by Production I.G. Based on Haruichi Furudate's manga series Haikyu!!, it is a direct sequel to the anime television series. The film stars Ayumu Murase, Kaito Ishikawa, Yuki Kaji, and Yuichi Nakamura as part of an ensemble cast.
