<i>Yavarum Nalam</i> 2009 Tamil language film

Yavarum Nalam is a 2009 Indian Tamil-language horror film written and directed by Vikram Kumar. The film stars R. Madhavan and Neetu Chandra. Produced by Suresh Balaje and George Pius, the film was simultaneously filmed and released in Hindi as 13B: Fear Has a New Address with a slightly different cast. It was also later dubbed into Telugu as 13-Padamoodu, featuring a few scenes reshot with Ravi Babu. The film's soundtrack was composed by Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy, while Tubby-Parik provided the background score. Released on 6 March 2009, the film received mixed reviews but was commercially successful. Rediff placed the film in its list of top Tamil films of 2009. A web series with a similar theme called Dhootha written and directed by Vikram K Kumar was released in 2023, some have speculated that Yavarum Nalam and Dhootha exist in the same universe, while others have said that Dhootha is a standalone sequel to Yavarum Nalam.

Raat in Hindi or Raatri (transl. Night) in Telugu is a 1992 Indian supernatural horror film written and directed by Ram Gopal Varma. The film is shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu languages, and stars Revathi. The music was composed by Mani Sharma. It is his debut film as music director. Raat was noted as an effort to bring horror films into mainstream Hindi cinema.

Mano Ya Na Mano is a horror television drama series aired on Zee TV channel in 1995. The series was directed by Rajesh Ranashinge.

Indian ghost movies are popular not just in India but in the Middle East, Africa, South East Asia and other parts of the world. Generally the movies are based on the experiences of modern people who are unexpectedly exposed to ghosts. Some Indian ghost movies, such as the comedy horror film Chandramukhi, have been great hits, dubbed into several languages. They usually draw on traditional Indian literature or folklore, but in some cases are remakes of Western movies, such as Anjaane, based on Alejandro Amenábar's ghost story The Others.

<i>Woh</i> Indian horror series

Woh (transl. It) is a 52-episode Indian horror thriller television series which aired on Zee TV in 1998. The series starred Indian film director Ashutosh Gowarikar, and dwarf actor Lilliput in the title role. It is a Hindi-language TV show adaptation of Stephen King's epic horror novel It.

Booo Sabki Phategi is a 2019 Hindi horror comedy web series created and produced by Ekta Kapoor for video on demand platform ALTBalaji. The series stars Birbal marks their debut on digital media. The series is available for streaming on the ALT Balaji App and its associated websites from 27 June.
