Scott County High School is a public high school in Georgetown, Kentucky, United States. The mascot is a Cardinal. School colors are Red and Blue, with white and black occasionally serving as secondary colors. In the 2018–19 school year, its last as the county's only public high school, the combined institution had an enrollment of 2,486, making it the largest high school in the state, before rival school Great Crossing High School opened across town just in time for the 2019–2020 school year. The 9th Grade Center, a section of the building where all of the 9th grade classes were located, along with a separate library, cafeteria, and gym, was replaced by the new "Phoenix Horizon" a program where kids who were struggling in normal classes, or having behavior issues could go and learn without the distractions of a normal classroom.

South Oldham opened in 1989 because Oldham County High School had become overcrowded.

McCracken County High School is a public secondary school located west of Paducah, Kentucky that opened on August 9, 2013. Operated by the McCracken County Public Schools district, it consolidates that district's three former high schools—Heath, Lone Oak, and Reidland. Before ground was broken for the new school in June 2010, the school's nickname of Mustangs and colors of crimson, black, and white had been finalized. The school opened with an enrollment of slightly under 1,900.
Franklin-Simpson High School is a high school in Franklin, Kentucky, United States. Franklin-Simpson is the only high school located in Simpson County, Kentucky. As of 2016, the school has 916 students enrolled and has 52 full-time teachers. The school was built in the 1960s to replace the old high school in Franklin.The school ranks 13th in Kentucky academically. Franklin-Simpson also boasts a very successful athletic department, with them constantly being a threat to win district, Regional, and even State Titles. Franklin-Simpson has been in the top 20 in the Kentucky state academic rankings since 2014.
