A first frost is nearing Sunny Patch and all the bugs are working to put away storage for the winter, but Squirt would rather have fun.

Miss Spider's Sunny Patch Friends, sometimes shortened to Sunny Patch, is a computer-animated children's television series produced by Nelvana in association with AbsoluteDigital Pictures and Callaway Arts & Entertainment as a follow-up to Miss Spider's Sunny Patch Kids. It was based on David Kirk's Sunny Patch brand and the accompanying Miss Spider book series. In Canada, the show aired on Treehouse TV. In the United States, it aired on Nick Jr. 44 episodes were produced.

David Kirk is an American illustrator and author of children's books. He is the creator of the Sunny Patch brand, which includes a variety of products marketed by Target from 2003 to 2010, and thereafter by Melissa and Doug. The brand spun off from his Miss Spider series of children's books published by Scholastic.

The Dutch version of Nickelodeon, broadcasting free-to-cable in the Netherlands and through satellite in Belgium, was launched on 14 July 2003. In addition to the general Nickelodeon programmes, original productions such as ZOOP, Het Huis Anubis, and SuperNick are also broadcast. The Dutch Kids' Choice Awards were presented in three years, featuring nominees that are relevant to Dutch audiences. In 2010, the US Kids' Choice Awards aired, which included categories for the Netherlands and Belgium inserted into the broadcast.

Nick Jr. is a Dutch pay-TV preschooler's network and is part of the Dutch Nickelodeon network. Nick Jr. is a German TV television channel broadcasting to children in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. The Nick Jr. Channel is an American pay television channel spun off from Nickelodeon's Nick Jr. programming block. It is run by Paramount Global through its networks division's Kids and Family Group. The channel launched on September 28, 2009, replacing Noggin. The channel primarily targets preschoolers and toddlers ages 2 to 6 years old. Its lineup features a mix of originally-produced programming, along with series from the Nickelodeon weekday block; to avoid confusion between the two different entities, the separate channel has been identified on-air as the "Nick Jr. Channel" since March 2018 to the present day for promos and until September 2023 for the on-screen graphic.

Nick Jr. is a South African pay television channel owned by Paramount Networks EMEAA. It launched on 30 September 2014, along with sister channel Nicktoons, North Africa receives the Arabic-Language version of the channel Nick Jr. MENA.
