Prague Metro lines and stations

The following is a list of Prague Metro stations, ordered alphabetically. Names in parentheses denote former station names from before 1990. The accessibility of the station for persons with impaired mobility and important places nearby are also given.

Lines

The green Line A connects the center with the northwest and east of the city. It is 10 kilometres (6.2 miles) long and has 13 stations. Travel time (from terminal to terminal) is about 20 minutes.

The yellow Line B is the longest; it goes from the southwest outskirts through the center and continues to the northeast of the city. It is 25.6 kilometres (15.9 miles) long and has 24 stations. Travel time (from end to end) is about 45 minutes.

The red Line C is the oldest and shallowest, going from the north to the south-east. It is 14 kilometres (8.7 miles) long and has 20 stations. Travel time is about 35 minutes.

The Prague Metro is the rapid transit network of Prague, Czech Republic. Founded in 1974, the system consists of three lines serving 61 stations, and is 65.2 kilometres (40.5 mi) long. The system served 589.2 million passengers in 2012, making it the fifth busiest metro system in Europe.

Yonkers station Railway station in Yonkers, New York

Yonkers station is a Metro-North Railroad and Amtrak railroad station located in Yonkers, New York. It serves Metro-North commuter trains on the Hudson Line. It is one of four express stations on the line south of Croton–Harmon, but most Metro North express trains do not stop here. It is 14.4 miles (23.2 km) from Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan and travel time to Grand Central is about 33 minutes. It is the only intercity rail station in the southwestern portion of Westchester County, connecting the region to Albany and points beyond.

Wassaic station is a commuter rail stop on the Metro-North Railroad's Harlem Line, located in Amenia, New York. It is the northern terminal of the Harlem Line. Trains leave for New York City every two hours, and about every 30 minutes during rush hour. It is 28.8 miles (46.3 km) from Southeast station and 82 miles (132 km) from Grand Central Terminal and travel time to there is approximately two hours, twelve minutes.

Tenmile River station

Tenmile River station is a commuter rail stop on the Metro-North Railroad's Harlem Line, located in Amenia, New York. Trains depart about every two hours for Southeast which connect to trains for New York City with service to Grand Central Terminal. It is 80 miles from Grand Central Terminal and travel time to there is approximately two hours, five minutes.

The Porto Metro, part of the public transport system of Porto, Portugal, is a light rail network that runs underground in central Porto and above ground into the city's suburbs. Metro do Porto S.A. was founded in 1993, and the first line of the system opened in 2002.

Stamford Transportation Center Rail station in Stamford, Connecticut, United States

Stamford station, officially known as the Stewart B. McKinney Transportation Center or the Stamford Transportation Center, is a major railroad station in the city of Stamford, Connecticut, serving passengers traveling on Metro-North Railroad's New Haven Line, Amtrak's Northeast Corridor, and CTrail's Shore Line East. In addition, it is also a major bus terminal for Greyhound, Peter Pan, and CTtransit buses. Annual ridership on Metro-North exceeded 8.4 million in 2016, making it the second busiest station in the entire system, after Grand Central Terminal.

Mortensrud is a rapid transit station on the Østensjø Line of the Oslo Metro. It is located in Mortensrud in the Søndre Nordstrand borough of Oslo, Norway. Construction of the station started in 1995, which was taken into use on 24 November 1997, when it became the terminal station of the line—following a 2.4 kilometres (1.5 mi) extension from Skullerud. The extension cost 215 million kr to build, and most of the section is in tunnels. The station is built in concrete, wood and stone, and cost NOK 35 million. It is served by line 3, in addition to being an important bus terminal for the borough, including a feeder service to Bjørndal. Travel time along the 13.6-kilometre (8.5 mi) section to the city center is 24 minutes. In 2001–02, the station had 2,077 daily boarding passengers. The station serves the surrounding residential area, as well as an adjacent shopping center. South of the station is a turning line for trains.

St. Louis Union Station is a National Historic Landmark train station in St. Louis, Missouri. At its 1894 opening, the station was the largest in the world that had tracks and passenger service areas all on one level. Traffic peaked at 100,000 people a day in the 1940s. The last Amtrak passenger train left the station in 1978.

Capital MetroRail is a hybrid rail system that serves the Greater Austin area in Texas, and which is owned by Capital Metro. The Red Line, Capital Metro's first and only rail line, connects Downtown Austin with Austin's northern suburbs. The line operates on 32 miles (51 km) of existing freight tracks, and serves nine stations. In 2021, the line had a ridership of 333,300, or about 1,300 per weekday as of the first quarter of 2022.

Anaheim Street station Los Angeles Metro Rail station

Anaheim Street station is an at-grade light rail station on the A Line of the Los Angeles Metro Rail system. The station is located in the median of Long Beach Boulevard at its intersection with Anaheim Street, after which the station is named, in Long Beach, California.

Line C is a line on the Prague Metro. It crosses the right-bank half of the city center in the north-south directions and turns to the east at both ends of the line. It is the system's oldest and most used line, being opened in 1974 and transporting roughly 26,900 persons per hour in the peak. The line is 22.41 kilometres (13.92 mi) long and includes 20 stations, journey from one end to the other taking approx. 35 min.

The Prague tramway network is the largest tram network in the Czech Republic, consisting of 142.4 km (88.5 mi) of track, 882 tram vehicles and 26 daytime routes, 2 historical and 10 night routes with a total route length of 518 km (322 mi). It is operated by Dopravní podnik hlavního města Prahy a.s., a company owned by the city of Prague. The network is a part of Prague Integrated Transport, the city's integrated public transport system.

Metrobus (Buenos Aires)

The Buenos Aires Metrobus is a 50.5 km (31.4 mi) network of dedicated separated lanes and stations for normal buses that serve the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Designed as a Bus Rapid Transit system, it mixes a few bi-articulated buses with conventional buses. The headway is the same as before the implementation of the system, and it lacks the brand of the network in the buses that use it, maintaining their previous branding as common bus lines with their own numbers. The service operates 24 hours a day and 365 days a year, with 2-4 minute frequencies during the day and 10–15 minutes at night.

LAX Automated People Mover Electric train system around Los Angeles International Airport

The LAX Automated People Mover is an automated people mover (APM) system around the Los Angeles International Airport area, currently under construction for Los Angeles World Airports. To be operated by LAX Integrated Express Solutions, the LAX APM will run 2.25 miles (3.62 km) and will have six stations that connect the Los Angeles Metro Rail, a consolidated rental car center (CONRAC), and two intermodal transportation facilities (ITF) with the airport's central terminal area (CTA).
