Re:Zero is a Japanese light novel series written by Tappei Nagatsuki and illustrated by Shinichirou Otsuka. The series has received three manga adaptations and a number of other spinoffs.
Re:Zero was originally a web novel serialized on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website from April 2012,[1][2] before being acquired for print publication by Media Factory, who published the first volume under their MF Bunko J imprint on January 24, 2014.[1] Thirty-nine volumes have been published to date, as well as six side story novels and eleven short story collections.
The series' first three arcs have been adapted into separate manga series. The first, by Daichi Matsue, was published by Media Factory between June 2014 and March 2015. The second, by Makoto Fugetsu, has been published by Square Enix since October 2014. Matsue launched the third adaptation, also published by Media Factory, in May 2015. Additionally, Media Factory published a manga anthology in June 2016.
Both the novels and the manga adaptations are published in North America by Yen Press, who announced the licenses on December 2, 2015.[3]

A manga adaptation by Daichi Matsue, titled Re:Zero −Starting Life in Another World- Chapter 1: A Day in the Capital (Re:ゼロから始める異世界生活 第一章 王都の一日編, Re: Zero Kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu Dai-Ichi-Shō: Ōto no Ichinichi-hen), began serialization in the August 2014 issue of Media Factory's seinen manga magazine Monthly Comic Alive on June 27, 2014.[95][3] The final volume was released on March 23, 2015.[3]
On December 2, 2015, Yen Press announced that they had licensed the series.[3]

A Week at the Mansion
A second manga, titled Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World-, Chapter 2: A Week at the Mansion (Re:ゼロから始める異世界生活 第二章 屋敷の一週間編, Re: Zero Kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu Dai-Ni-Shō: Yashiki no Ishūkan-hen), with art by Makoto Fugetsu, began serialization in Square Enix's seinen magazine Monthly Big Gangan on October 25, 2014.[100][101][3]

Truth of Zero
Daichi Matsue serialized a third manga, Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-, Chapter 3: Truth of Zero (Re:ゼロから始める異世界生活 第三章 Truth of Zero, Re: Zero Kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu Dai-San-Shō: Truth of Zero) in Comic Alive from July 2015 issue released on May 27, 2015, to February 21, 2020.[112][3] It was compiled in eleven volumes.
The third manga has also been licensed for publication by Yen Press.[113]
Media Factory began publishing a manga anthology, titled Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World − Official Anthology Comic (Re:ゼロから始める異世界生活 公式アンソロジーコミック, Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu Kōshiki Ansorojī Komikku) in June 2016.
A manga adaptation of the exclusive novel Re:Zero Prequel: The Frozen Bond (Re:ゼロから始める前日譚 氷結の絆) released with the Season 1 Blu-rays was illustrated by Minori Tsukahara and licensed by Yen Press.[159]

Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody is a Japanese light novel series written by Hiro Ainana. It began serialization online in 2013 on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō until it was acquired by Fujimi Shobo. The first volume of the Light Novel was published in March 2014. A manga adaptation by Ayamegumu ran in Age Premium until the magazine ceased publication, and was then transferred to Monthly Dragon Age. Both the light novels and the manga adaptation have been licensed for publication in North America by Yen Press. An anime television series adaptation by Silver Link and Connect aired from January 11 to March 29, 2018. A sequel has been announced.
Grimoire of Zero is a Japanese light novel series written by Kakeru Kobashiri and illustrated by Yoshinori Shizuma. The light novel won the Grand Prize at the 20th annual Dengeki Novel Awards. ASCII Media Works has published it in eleven volumes from February 2014 to December 10, 2017. The series has received a manga adaptation illustrated by Takashi Iwasaki. A spin-off manga series, Zero kara Hajimeru Mahō no Sho Nano! (ゼロから始める魔法の書なの) has also been published and illustrated by Yasuoka. An anime television series adaptation by White Fox aired between April 10, 2017 and June 26, 2017.
Tappei Nagatsuki (長月達平) is a Japanese novelist. He is the author of the light novel series Re:Zero. The series has been adapted into an anime. He initially serialized the series as a web novel on the user-generated content site Shōsetsuka ni Narō from April 20, 2012 onwards. As of April 1, 2016, he has published thirty eight novels and five side stories, comprising a total of 686 chapters. Following the web novel's publication, Media Factory acquired the series for print publication. As of May 2024, thirty seven volumes have been published, as well as five side story volumes and ten short story collections. The series adapted into anime, manga and visual novel. Nagatsuki was very active in the production of the anime, attending script meetings, recording sessions, and dubbing.

Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World- The Prophecy of the Throne, known in Japan as Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World- The False Royal Election Candidate is a 2021 tactical adventure video game developed by Chime published by Spike Chunsoft for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Windows. It is the second official Re:Zero game as well as the first to be released outside of Japan and localized with English voices.

Uncle from Another World is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hotondoshindeiru. It started serialization on Kadokawa Shoten's ComicWalker in June 2018. As of September 2024, 12 volumes have been released. The manga is licensed in North America by Yen Press. It was later acquired by Micro Magazine who began publishing it under their GC Novels light novel imprint in November 2019. Return from Death is a Japanese light novel series written by Eiko Mutsuhana and illustrated by Yugiri Aika. It was initially serialized on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō between October 2020 and January 2021. It was later acquired by Earth Star Entertainment who released it under their Earth Star Luna light novel imprint between June 2021 and April 2022. A manga adaptation illustrated by 888 began serialization on Kadokawa's ComicWalker manga website in April 2018.
