Fudbalski klub Crvena zvezda is a Serbian professional association football club based in Belgrade, Serbia, who currently play in the Serbian SuperLiga. They have played at their current home ground, Red Star Stadium, since 1963.
In Crvena zvezda's history, 43 coaches have coached the club. The first manager was Branislav Sekulić and the current manager is Vladan Milojević, who was appointed on 20 December 2023. Miljan Miljanić had the longest reign as Crvena zvezda coach, with eight consecutive years in charge.

Until 1941 the sports society Jugoslavija, beside football, also included sections for athletics, cycling, winter sports, basketball, boxing, wrestling, swimming, and table tennis.
VK Crvena zvezda is a professional water polo club based in Belgrade, Serbia. It is part of the SD Crvena Zvezda sports society. As of 2023–24 season, it competes in the Serbian League and Regional League A1.
The history of Red star Belgrade's football team began with its establishment by a committee of Yugoslav Communists on 4 March 1945. Slobodan Penezić supervised the committee which founded Red Star, composed largely of communist veterans from World War II. This was in contrast to Partizan, as it was founded by high-ranking generals and members of the Yugoslav People's Army.

The Crvena Zvezda–Partizan basketball rivalry, commonly referred as the Eternal derby, is an Adriatic League, Serbian League, and Belgrade-based rivalry between Crvena zvezda and Partizan. These two men's basketball clubs are the biggest and most popular clubs in Serbia. The two clubs both play their home games at Aleksandar Nikolić Hall or Štark Arena in Belgrade. The rivalry started immediately after the creation of the two clubs in 1945 and the two clubs have been dominant in domestic basketball since then. It is present in a number of different sports but the most intense matches are in football sections of both clubs.
