Touhou Project, also known simply as Touhou, is a bullet hell shoot 'em up video game series created by independent Japanese doujin soft developer Team Shanghai Alice. The team's sole member, Jun'ya "ZUN" Ōta, has independently developed programming, graphics, writing, and music for the series, publishing 19 mainline games and 13 spin-offs since 1997. ZUN has also produced related print works and music albums, and collaborated with doujin developer Twilight Frontier on seven of the official spin-offs, six of which are fighting games.
Team Shanghai Alice, formerly known as ZUN Soft, is a Japanese dōjin game developer. Since 1995, the sole member of the group, Jun'ya "ZUN" Ōta, has independently developed and self-published the Touhou Project, a bullet hell shoot 'em up series, as well as collaborated with other circles to produce related print works and music albums.

Touhou Koumakyou ~ The Embodiment of Scarlet Devil is a 2002 bullet hell scrolling shoot 'em up video game developed by Team Shanghai Alice. It is the sixth game in the Touhou Project series, and the first Touhou game to be released for Windows. The story follows either the miko Reimu Hakurei or the magician Marisa Kirisame, as they fight through the world of Gensokyo to find the cause of a vampiric mist, covering the sky scarlet red in the middle of summer.

Robert F. "Toby" Fox is an American video game developer and composer. He is best known for developing the role-playing video game Undertale, which garnered acclaim and has received nominations for a British Academy Game Award, three Game Awards and D.I.C.E. Awards. He is also the creator and head of the ongoing development of Deltarune, which contains many characters and features from Undertale, and has garnered significant praise.
Touhou Hyouibana ~ The Antinomy of Common Flowers, often abbreviated to AoCF, is a fighting video game developed by Twilight Frontier and published by Team Shanghai Alice for Microsoft Windows in 2017. It is the latest fighting game in the Touhou Project series, being a continuation of the extra story mode from Urban Legend in Limbo's PlayStation 4 port, released in 2016.
Touhou Spell Bubble is a rhythm based competitive arcade puzzle game developed in 2020 by Taito as an officially licensed spin-off in the Touhou Project series. The gameplay is similar to that of the Puzzle Bobble series, which Taito also developed. The company has referred to the game as "Puzzle Bobble meets Touhou Project," implying that they consider it to also be a spinoff of both series.
Touhou Kikeijuu ~ Wily Beast and Weakest Creature is the 17th main game in the Touhou Project and the 24th game overall. It was announced on ZUN's blog on April 17, 2019. A playable demo was released on May 5, at Reitaisai 16, and the full version was released at Comiket and on Steam on August 12.
Touhou Luna Nights is a Metroidvania action-adventure Touhou Project fangame developed by Team Ladybug and published by Active Gaming Media brand Playism for Windows. First available through Steam Early Access in 2018, the game was fully released in February 2019, and later ported to the Xbox One and Nintendo Switch in 2020. The PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 ports were released in January 2024.
Hifuu Nightmare Diary ~ Violet Detector is the 16.5th Touhou Project game, released at the 94th Comiket on August 10, 2018. It is the third photography game in the series, and introduces regular shot types alongside the camera, allowing the player to switch between using photographs to destroy bullets, and regular danmaku to deplete enemies of their health.
Touhou Kōryūdō ~ Unconnected Marketeers is the 18th game in the TouhouProject series of danmaku shoot 'em ups. The game was announced on February 27, 2021, and had a demo released on March 21. The game's full version released on May 4, 2021, on Steam.
Record of Lodoss War: Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth is a 2021 action role-playing video game developed by Team Ladybug and co-published by Playism and Why so serious? for Microsoft Windows. Versions for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X and Series S were also released. It is based on Ryo Mizuno's Record of Lodoss War series, taking place before the events of The Crown of the Covenant. Controlling the high elf Deedlit, who finds herself in a strange interconnected labyrinth filled with her past foes and companions, the game focuses on exploration and searching for items and power-ups in the vein of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, fighting bosses and minibosses. During gameplay, the player also locates two elemental spirits and swaps between each one.
Gensou SkyDrift is a racing Touhou Project fangame developed in 2019 by illuCalab for Microsoft Windows and Nintendo Switch, by a development team who had previously worked on Mario Kart 8. In 2021, it was released for PlayStation 4.
Touhou LostWord is a free-to-play mobile Touhou fangame developed in 2020 by NextNinja, and published by Good Smile Company. The game is licensed by Team Shanghai Alice, the publisher of the official Touhou games.
Koumajou Densetsu: Scarlet Symphony is an Action-adventure Touhou Project fangame developed in 2009 for Windows. The game has also been referred to as Touhouvania. A remaster, titled Koumajou Remilia: Scarlet Symphony, was announced in 2021, and released on July 28, 2022 for Steam and Nintendo Switch.
Touhou Gouyoku Ibun ~ Sunken Fossil World is a bullet hell platform game numbered as the 17.5th in the Touhou Project series. The game was developed by Twilight Frontier and Team Shanghai Alice. Sunken Fossil World is the first Touhou spinoff by Twilight Frontier which is not a fighting game. On the official website, the game is described as a "horizontal side-scrolling danmaku water action game". The game consists entirely of boss fights.
