The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Peru to the Kingdom of Sweden is the official representative of the Republic of Peru to the Kingdom of Sweden.
The ambassador in Stockholm is also accredited to neighbouring Denmark [lower-alpha 1] and has also been accredited to Iceland [lower-alpha 2] and Norway, as well as Finland.
Both countries established diplomatic relations on February 11, 1938 [4] [5] [6] and maintain embassies in both Stockholm and Lima. The former was closed in 2010 but reopened in 2012, [4] [7] and the latter was also closed in 2001 but reopened in 2015. [5]

ORTIZ DE ZEVALLOS (José): Abogado y diplomático peruano. Concejal de Lima. Embajador en Paraguay (1933-36), en Suecia (1936-45).
El 14 de Octubre de 1949 fué nombrado Enviado Extraordinario y Ministro Plenipotenciario del Perú en el Reino de Suecia. Embajador del Perú en los Funerales del Rey Gustavo V. El 22 de Febrero de 1950 fué acreditado como Ministro Plenipotenciario del Perú en el Reino de Noruega.
1 de Junio: Se ratificó el nombramiento del Embajador del Perú en Suecia, Gustavo Silva, para que desempeñe simultáneamente el cargo de Embajador no residente ante el Gobierno de Islandia, con sede en Estocolmo. (Resolución Senatorial No. 1078-90)
8 de Mayo: El Congreso Constituyente Democrático (CCD) ratificó al Embajador Jaime Stiglich como Embajador del Perú en el Reino de Suecia y como Embajador Concurrente en los Reinos de Dinamarca, Noruega e Islandia y Finlandia.
Perú-Suecia: 30-XII-95.- El embajador del Perú en Suecia, José Emilio Romero Cevallos, presentó al Rey Carlos Gustavo XVI de Suecia las cartas que lo acreditan como embajador extraordinario y plenipotenciario de ese país.
