The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is a comprehensive cancer center in Houston, Texas. It is the largest cancer center in the world and one of the original three NCI-designated comprehensive cancer centers in the country. It is both a degree-granting academic institution and a cancer treatment and research center located within Texas Medical Center (TMC), Houston, the largest medical center and life sciences destination in the world. MD Anderson Cancer Center has consistently ranked #1 among the best hospitals for cancer care and research in the U.S. and worldwide, and it has held the #1 position 20 times in the last 23 years in U.S. News & World Report's Best Hospitals rankings for cancer care. As of 2023, MD Anderson Cancer Center is home to the highest number of cancer clinical trials in the world and has received more NCI-funded projects than any other U.S. institute. In 2024, Newsweek placed MD Anderson at #1 in their annual list of the World's Best Specialized Hospitals in oncology.

In medicine, proton therapy, or proton radiotherapy, is a type of particle therapy that uses a beam of protons to irradiate diseased tissue, most often to treat cancer. The chief advantage of proton therapy over other types of external beam radiotherapy is that the dose of protons is deposited over a narrow range of depth; hence in minimal entry, exit, or scattered radiation dose to healthy nearby tissues.

The Regional Cancer Centre (RCC) at Thiruvananthapuram is a cancer care hospital and research centre. RCC was established in 1981 by the Government of Kerala and the Government of India. It is located in the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College campus in Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city of the state of Kerala. It was established as an expansion of the Radiation Therapy / Radiotherapy department of Medical College Trivandrum. It is a tertiary care center for the managements of all types of cancers. The clinics are mainly on Haematology, Lymphoreticular, soft tissue, bone, head and neck, breast, CNS, gynaecological, urinary, chest, gastro, paediatric oncology and thyroid.

Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital (NLFH) is a community-based hospital in Lake Forest, Illinois, United States, and a wholly owned subsidiary of Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, one of the nation's premiere academic medical centers. The hospital was established in 1899 as Alice Home on the campus of Lake Forest College, and in 1942 a new hospital was built in its current location as Lake Forest Hospital. On February 1, 2010, Lake Forest Hospital completed an affiliation agreement with Northwestern Memorial HealthCare and became Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital.

Banner Health is a non-profit health system in the United States, based in Phoenix, Arizona. It operates 33 hospitals and several specialized facilities across 6 states. The health system is the largest employer in Arizona and one of the largest in the United States with over 55,000 employees.

The history of pursuing nuclear medicine goes back to 1956, when the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC) was established under the executive order of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy. The PAEC, the scientific body that is responsible for establishing the nuclear power plants in the country, has sat up a Nuclear Medicines laboratory. The PAEC also sat up the nuclear medicines lab and facilities throughout the country to fight against Cancer. Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission had provided the facilities of diagnosis and treatment of cancer and allied diseases to the patients from all over the country employing Nuclear Techniques at its Medical Centers. PAEC also sponsored the research program in the field of radiochemistry and biochemistry. PAEC also sat up the research institutes all over the country, some of them are below:

Abrazo Community Health Network (Abrazo Health) is one of the largest health care delivery system in Arizona, United States. Abrazo Community Health Network is located in Phoenix, Arizona and was established in 2003. The Abrazo system comprises five acute care hospitals including one cardiovascular-specialty hospital. The health care system offers a broad range of medical services, including cardiology, internal medicine, general surgery, orthopedics, neurology, obstetrics, bariatric, oncology, women’s health, diagnostic imaging, acute inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient rehabilitation, outpatient services, Level 1 Trauma Center and emergency care. In addition to the hospitals, Abrazo Community Health Network includes primary and specialty care physician offices, urgent care offices and emergency centers.

Nuclear Medicine, Oncology and Radiotherapy Institute (NORI) is the 7th Cancer hospital and research centre; established by Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC) in 1983 at Islamabad, adjacent to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) to caterer Patients from Islamabad and adjoining areas. NORI is the first institute which has been recognized by College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan (CPSP) for training of Fellows of College of Physicians and Surgeons (FCPS) in Nuclear Medicine and radiotherapy. Various research projects sponsored by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the World Health Organization (WHO), are underway in the NORI Cancer Hospital. The hospital is providing treatment facilities to about 40,000 patients from Islamabad, Hazara, Jhelum, Sargodha, Azad Kashmir, etc.

Phoenix Children's Hospital is a freestanding pediatric acute care children's hospital located in Phoenix, Arizona. The hospital has 484 pediatric beds and is affiliated with the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix. Phoenix Children's also partners with Valleywise Health for a 3-year pediatric residency training program. The hospital provides comprehensive pediatric specialties and subspecialties including inpatient, outpatient, emergency, trauma, and urgent care to infants, children, teens, and young adults 0–21 throughout Arizona and the surrounding states. The hospital sometimes also treats older adults that require pediatric care. Phoenix Children's Hospital also features a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center, the only in the state.

Abrazo Scottsdale Campus is an acute care hospital located in Phoenix, Arizona, in the United States. Abrazo Scottsdale Campus offers orthopedic services, sports medicines, rehabilitation services, diagnostic imaging, surgical weight loss procedures, women's health services, da Vinci Surgical System, and 24-hour emergency care.

The Karachi Institute of Radiotherapy and Nuclear Medicine (KIRAN) is a cancer hospital in Karachi, Pakistan under the administrative control of the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission. KIRAN is one of nineteen medical centers in Pakistan providing patients access to diagnostic and treatment facilities either free of charge or at subsidized rates.

Catherine Naliaka Nyongesa Watta, is a Kenyan physician and radiation oncologist, who is the founder, owner and chief executive of Texas Cancer Centre, in Nairobi, the capital and largest city in the country.

Mayo Clinic Arizona is a multi-campus medical clinic and tertiary medical center in Phoenix, Arizona. Its two main campuses are the outpatient clinic building, situated in east Scottsdale, Arizona, and the Arizona Hospital, located in north Phoenix, Arizona. Additionally, satellite primary care clinics around the Phoenix metropolitan are located in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Glendale, and Chandler. The hospital and clinics provide inpatient and outpatient medical services to patients from around the world. It is an academic medical center that houses a number of graduate medical education programs (residencies).

Malawi National Cancer Centre (MNCC), also Malawi National Cancer Treatment Centre (MNCTC), is a public, specialized, tertiary care medical facility owned by the Malawi Ministry of Health. Since 2020, the facility's administrative department is temporarily housed within Kamuzu Central Hospital, in Nangwagwa, in Lilongwe, the capital city of Malawi. Construction is ongoing for a stand-alone cancer unit separate but adjacent to the hospital. This is the first and only cancer treatment unit in the country.
