Roderick DeWayne Grizzard is an American professional basketball player. He played college basketball for the Alabama Crimson Tide. He was selected in the second round of the 2002 NBA draft by the Washington Wizards.

The 1974–75 Washington Bullets played in their 14th season, 2nd in the Washington, D.C. area, and first under the Washington Bullets name. The franchise changed their name from the Capital Bullets to the Washington Bullets. The franchise captured its 6th division title in 7 years by posting a franchise best record of 60–22. The Bullets were nearly unbeatable at home posting a record of 36–5 at the Capital Centre. The Bullets won their second Eastern Conference title, but similar to their 1971 appearance, were swept in the NBA Finals in four games, this time by the Golden State Warriors.

The 1973–74 Capital Bullets season was the team's first in Washington, D.C. area, southwest from nearby Baltimore. Prior to the 1973–74 season, the Baltimore Bullets relocated to Landover, Maryland, a suburb east of Washington, and became the Capital Bullets. It was also their only season under the Capital Bullets name.

Nigel Williams-Goss is an American professional basketball player for Olympiacos of the Greek Basket League (GBL) and the EuroLeague. He was selected by the Utah Jazz, with the 55th overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft. He played college basketball for the Gonzaga Bulldogs. He spent two seasons with the University of Washington's Huskies, before deciding to transfer before the 2015–16 season. At a height of 6'3" tall, he plays at the point guard position.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2021 NBA Finals</span> 2021 edition of the NBA Finals between the Phoenix Suns and Milwaukee Bucks

The 2021 NBA Finals was the championship series of the National Basketball Association's (NBA) 2020–21 season and conclusion of the season's playoffs. In this best-of-seven playoff series, the Eastern Conference champion Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Western Conference champion Phoenix Suns, 4–2, winning their first NBA championship in 50 years and second overall. Holding home-court advantage, the Suns led the series 2–0 before the Bucks won the next four games, becoming the fifth team in NBA history to win the championship after losing the first two games. Milwaukee's Giannis Antetokounmpo was named NBA Finals Most Valuable Player (MVP). With the COVID-19 pandemic altering the NBA's schedule for the second consecutive year, the start date of the series was pushed from its usual time in late May or early June to July 6, the second-latest start in Finals' history. This was the first NBA Finals since 2010 to have neither LeBron James nor Stephen Curry as one of the players competing.

The 2022 NBA playoffs was the postseason tournament of the National Basketball Association's 2021–22 season. The playoffs began on April 16 and ended on June 16 with the conclusion of the 2022 NBA Finals. The playoffs also returned to its normal April–June schedule for the first time since 2019, before the COVID-19 pandemic resulted in two postponements in 2020 and 2021.
