An independent city or independent town is a city or town that does not form part of another general-purpose local government entity.
Incheon, formerly Jemulpo or Chemulp'o (제물포) until the period after 1910, officially the Incheon Metropolitan City, is a city located in northwestern South Korea, bordering Seoul and Gyeonggi to the east. Inhabited since the Neolithic, Incheon was home to just 4,700 people when it became an international port in 1883. Today, about 3 million people live in the city, making it South Korea's third-most-populous city after Seoul and Busan.
Divisions are the first-level administrative divisions in Bangladesh. As of 2022, there are eight divisions of Bangladesh, each named after the major city within its jurisdiction that also serves as the administrative seat of that division. Each division is divided into several districts which are further subdivided into upazilas, then union councils.
Gyeonggi-do is the most populous province in South Korea. Its name, Gyeonggi, means "京 (Seoul) and 畿 ". Thus, Gyeonggi-do can be translated as "Seoul and the surrounding areas of Seoul". Seoul, the nation's largest city and capital, is in the heart of the area but has been separately administered as a provincial-level special city since 1946. Incheon, the nation's third-largest city, is on the coast of the province and has been similarly administered as a provincial-level metropolitan city since 1981. The three jurisdictions are collectively referred to as Sudogwon and cover 11,730 km2 (4,530 sq mi), with a combined population of 25.5 million—amounting to over half of the entire population of South Korea.

The Yangcheon District (Yangcheon-gu) is a gu, or district, of Seoul, South Korea, located on the southwest side of the Han River. At the centre of this district is the Mok-dong area, which is home to numerous shopping outlets, bars and restaurants, an ice rink, and large residential buildings inhabited by mostly upper-middle and upper-class families.

Yeonsu District (Yeonsu-gu) is a district in southern Incheon, South Korea. To the east is Namdong District (Namdong-gu), on its north border is Nam District (Nam-gu), and the Yellow Sea is on the west and south sides. Munhak Mountain (Munhak-san) rises in the north, and Seunggi Stream (Seunggi-cheon) flows south to the Yellow Sea.
Bupyeong District (Bupyeong-gu) is one of the 10 administrative divisions that comprise Incheon, South Korea. Bupyeong-gu comprises an area of 12.35 square miles, and has a population of 508,587. It is located north of Namdong-gu, east of Seo-gu, and south of Gyeyang-gu. The city of Bucheon, in neighboring Gyeonggi Province, comprises its eastern limit.
The Seoul Capital Area (SCA), Sudogwon or Gyeonggi region, is the metropolitan area of Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi Province, located in north-west South Korea. Its population of 26 million is ranked as the fifth largest metropolitan area in the world. Its area is about 12,685 km2 (4,898 sq mi). It forms the cultural, commercial, financial, industrial, and residential center of South Korea. The largest city is Seoul, with a population of approximately 10 million people, followed by Incheon, with 3 million inhabitants.
Mymensingh Division is one of the eight administrative divisions of Bangladesh. It has an area of 10,485 square kilometres (4,048 sq mi) and a population of 11,370,000 as of the 2011 census. It was created in 2015 from districts previously composing the northern part of Dhaka Division. Its headquarters are in Mymensingh city in Mymensingh District.
Kōkai-dō was an administrative division of Chōsen, with its capital at Kaishū. The province consisted of what is now the Hwanghae Province of North Korea.
Keiki-dō is a former Korean province, one of the administrative divisions of Chōsen, with its capital at Keijō. The province consisted of what is now the South Korean territories of Seoul and Gyeonggi, as well as parts of what is now southern North Korea.
