Sultan Sir Ismail Al-Khalidi Ibni Almarhum Sultan Sir Ibrahim Al-Masyhur was the 23rd Sultan of Johor and the 3rd Sultan of Modern Johor.

Sultan Idris Al-Mutawakil Alallahi Shah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar Shah Kaddasullah, CMG was the 33rd Sultan of Perak reigning from 5 January 1963 until his death on 31 January 1984. He was the son of Sultan Iskandar Shah.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Mohamed Khaled Nordin</span> Malaysian politician

Mohamed Khaled bin Nordin is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Minister of Defence since December 2023 and previously served as the Minister of Higher Education prior to the 2023 cabinet reshuffle for the second term from December 2022 to December 2023 in the Unity Government administration under Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. He had previously served as Deputy Minister of Works, Minister of Entrepreneur and Cooperatives Development and his first term as Minister of Higher Education in the Barisan Nasional (BN) administration under former Prime Ministers Mahathir Mohamad, Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and Najib Razak from 1999 to 2013. Additionally, he served as the 15th Menteri Besar of Johor after he contested and became a Member of the Johor State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Permas from May 2013 to May 2018. Throughout his political career, he has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for 3 different Johorean federal constituencies, which are Johor Bahru from October 1990 to March 2004, Pasir Gudang from March 2004 to May 2013 and currently for Kota Tinggi since November 2022. He is a member and the Division Chief of Pasir Gudang of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO), a component party of the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition. He has served as one of the Vice Presidents of UMNO since June 2018 and had also served as the State Chairman of UMNO of Johor from January to December 2023.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Ibrahim Iskandar of Johor</span> Yang di-Pertuan Agong since 2024

Sultan Ibrahim ibni Sultan Iskandar is the King of Malaysia and the fifth Sultan of modern Johor. Ibrahim was born during the reign of his great-grandfather, Sultan Sir Ibrahim, and became heir apparent when his father, Sultan Iskandar, acceded to the throne of Johor in 1981. He was created Crown Prince of Johor on 3 July 1981. He was educated at Trinity Grammar School in Australia. In 1982, he married Raja Zarith Sofiah. They had six children, notably Ismail Idris and Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah. Ibrahim became Sultan of Johor upon his father's death in 2010. On 31 January 2024, Ibrahim was sworn in as the 17th King of Malaysia, having been elected to a five-year term on 27 October 2023. Significant events in his reign have included his installation in July 2024.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Tunku Ismail Idris</span> Heir apparent to the Johor throne (born 1984)

Major General Tunku Ismail ibni Sultan Ibrahim, is the heir apparent to the Johor throne. He is the eldest son of Sultan Ibrahim Iskandar and Raja Zarith Sofiah.

Tunku Abdul Rahman ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Ismail was the younger son of Sultan Ismail of Johor as well as the younger brother of Sultan Iskandar of Johor. Tunku Abdul Rahman held the post of Tunku Mahkota for twenty years until shortly before his father's death in 1981. The termination of his post generated considerable controversy for a brief period of time.

Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj Ibni Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Alhaj has been the Sultan of Selangor since ascending to the throne in November 2001.

Raja Zarith Sofiah binti Almarhum Sultan Idris Shah is the Queen of Malaysia and the Permaisuri of Johor as a wife of Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar. She was born as a member of the Perak royal family. While still attending Somerville College, Oxford, she married the heir to the throne of Johor. Now a mother of six, she participates in the work of non-governmental organisations and universities, and writes a periodical column for a newspaper.

Tengku Sulaiman Shah Al-Haj ibni Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Al-Haj is a Malaysian corporate figure and member of the Selangor royal family. He is the second son of the 8th Sultan, Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Al-Haj and the brother of the 9th and current Sultan, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Al-Haj. Currently, he is second-in-line to throne of Selangor after his nephew, Tengku Amir Shah.

Almarhum Tunku Abdul Jalil ibni Sultan Ibrahim was the Tunku Laksamana of Johor. He was born to members of the Johor Royal Family and the Perak Royal Family.

Tunku Abdul Rahman Al-Haj ibni Sultan Ibrahim, also known as Prince Jefri Ibrahim, is a member of the Johor royal family who is the Tunku Panglima of Johor. He is the third son of Sultan Ibrahim and Raja Zarith Sofiah. He is also the grandson of both Sultan Iskandar of Johor and Sultan Idris Shah II of Perak.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Sallehuddin of Kedah</span> Sultan of Kedah since 2017

Al-Aminul Karim Sultan Sallehuddin ibni Almarhum Sultan Badlishah is the 29th Sultan of Kedah since ascending to the throne in September 2017 upon the death of his elder half-brother Abdul Halim. As the fourth son of Badlishah of Kedah, that lived to adulthood he was initially not expected to inherit the throne.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Tunku Iskandar Abdul Jalil Abu Bakar Ibrahim</span> Raja Muda of Johor

Tunku Iskandar ibni Tunku Ismail is a member of the Johor royal family who is the Raja Muda of Johor. He is the first son and second child of the current Pemangku Sultan (Regent) and Tunku Mahkota of Johor, Tunku Ismail ibni Sultan Ibrahim and his consort, Che’ Puan Mahkota Khaleeda Johor. As his father is the heir apparent, upon his birth, Tunku Iskandar becomes second in line of succession to the throne of Johor.

Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah binti Almarhum Sultan Iskandar Al-Haj is the Tengku Ampuan of the state of Pahang as the first wife of Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah. Previously, she was the 16th Raja Permaisuri Agong during her husband's reign as the 16th Yang di-Pertuan Agong from 2019 to 2024. She is also the younger sister of the 17th and current Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Sultan Ibrahim.

Tunku Idris Iskandar Al-Haj ibni Sultan Ibrahim is a member of the Johor royal family who is the Tunku Temenggong of Johor. Currently, he is fourth in the line of succession to the throne of Johor after his elder brother, the Crown Prince Tunku Ismail Idris and nephews, Tunku Iskandar Abdul Jalil Abu Bakar Ibrahim and Tunku Abu Bakar Ibrahim.

Tunku Tun Aminah binti Sultan Ibrahim is a member of the Johor royal family as the second child and only daughter of the current Sultan of Johor, Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar and the Permaisuri of Johor, Raja Zarith Sofiah binti Almarhum Sultan Idris Shah.
