<span class="mw-page-title-main">Ahmad Shah of Pahang</span> Yang di-Pertuan Agong from 1979 to 1984

Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta’in Billah ibni Almarhum Sultan Abu Bakar Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mu’azzam Shah was Sultan of Pahang from 1974 until his abdication in 2019, and the seventh Yang di-Pertuan Agong, from 1979 to 1984. His abdication as sultan was decided by the Royal Council at an extraordinary meeting on 11 January 2019. A special amendment was passed on the state constitution that gave the body more power for this decision, citing the Sultan's incapability to rule due to his failing health. The abdication was announced the next day which was retroactively effective on the day of the Royal Council meeting, paving the way to his son, Abdullah to succeed him as sultan immediately, and subsequently be elected as the next Yang di-Pertuan Agong later the same month.

Raja Permaisuri Tuanku Bainun is the former Raja Permaisuri of Perak. She was also the ninth Raja Permaisuri Agong and the first commoner ever to be installed as the Raja Permaisuri Agong. She is the widow of the Sultan Azlan Shah and the mother of the incumbent Sultan Nazrin Shah. She is now styled as Yang Maha Mulia Raja Permaisuri Tuanku Bainun.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Sultan of Perak</span> Ruler of Perak

The Sultan of Perak is the constitutional monarch and head of state of Malaysian state of Perak. It is one of the oldest hereditary seats among the Malay states. The current Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah, has been in office since 29 May 2014.

Mohamed Dzaiddin bin Abdullah was a Malaysian judge, lawyer, police officer and reporter who served as the 3rd Chief Justice of Malaysia from December 2000 to March 2003. He was also the first lawyer to become the Chief Justice.

Raja Azureen binti Almarhum Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah Al-Maghfur-Lah is the eldest daughter of Sultan Azlan Shah of Perak.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Raja Ashman Shah</span> Raja Kecil Sulong of Perak (1958–2012)

Raja Ashman Shah ibni Almarhum Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah Al-Maghfur-lah was a member of the Perak Royal Family, the second son of the late Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah ibni Almarhum Sultan Yussuff Izzuddin Shah Ghafarullahu-lah. He was the fourth in line to the throne of the Perak Sultanate when he was the Raja Kecil Sulong of Perak from 2010 until his death in 2012.

Raja Yong Sofia binti Almarhum Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah Al-Maghfur-Lah is the fifth child of the 34th Sultan of Perak, Sultan Azlan Shah.

Raja Eleena binti Almarhum Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah Al-Maghfur-Lah is the fourth child of the 34th Sultan of Perak, Sultan Azlan Shah.

Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah ibni Almarhum Sultan Yussuff Izzuddin Shah Ghafarullahu-lah was Sultan of Perak from 1984 until his death in 2014, the ninth Yang di-Pertuan Agong, from 1989 to 1994 and the 5th Lord President of the Supreme Court, from 1982 to 1984.

Raja Zarith Sofiah binti Almarhum Sultan Idris Shah is the Queen of Malaysia and the Permaisuri of Johor as a wife of Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar. She was born as a member of the Perak royal family. While still attending Somerville College, Oxford, she married the heir to the throne of Johor. Now a mother of six, she participates in the work of non-governmental organisations and universities, and writes a periodical column for a newspaper.

TunkuAbdul Malik ibni Almarhum Sultan Badlishah was the heir presumptive to the throne of Kedah. He was the son of Sultan Badlishah and the brother of the late ruler, Sultan Abdul Halim. He served as Regent of Kedah from 1970 to 1975.

Arifin bin Zakaria is a Malaysian lawyer who served as the seventh Chief Justice of Malaysia, serving from 12 September 2011, succeeding Zaki Azmi, until 31 March 2017.

Tun Syed Zahiruddin bin Syed Hassan was a Malaysian politician. He was the Yang di-Pertua Negeri of Malacca from 1976 to 1984 and the Ambassador and High commissioner to both Ireland in 1975 and the United Kingdom in 1974. He was also the Orang Besar Empat Perak. SMK Tun Syed Zahiruddin also named after him.

Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah ibni Almarhum Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah Al-Maghfur-Lah has been the Deputy Yang di-Pertuan Agong since December 2016 and the 35th Sultan of Perak since ascending to the throne in May 2014.

Raja Dato' Seri Ahmad Nazim Azlan Shah bin Almarhum Raja Ashman Shah is a member of the Perak Royal Family who is the current Raja Kecil Sulong of Perak. He is currently fourth in the line of succession to the throne of the Perak Sultanate.

Raja Ja'afar ibni Almarhum Raja Muda Musa is the Raja Muda of Perak Darul Ridzuan since 20 June 2014.

Raja Iskandar Dzurkarnain ibni Almarhum Sultan Idris A’fifullah Shah is a member of the Perak Royal Family who is the current Raja Di-Hilir of Perak. He is currently the second in the line of succession to the throne of the Malaysian state of Perak since 20 June 2014.
