The Dadeng (Tateng) Islands are claimed as part of Kinmen County (Quemoy) by Taiwan (ROC). China (PRC) has administered the islands since 1949.

Kinmen, alternatively known as Quemoy, is a group of islands governed as a county by the Republic of China (Taiwan), only 10 km (6.2 mi) east from the city of Xiamen in Fujian, located at the southeastern coast of the People's Republic of China, from which they are separated by Xiamen Bay. Kinmen is also located 187 km (116 mi) west from the closest shoreline of the island of Taiwan across the Taiwan Strait.
Xiang'an is one of the districts of Xiamen, People's Republic of China. It is located on the mainland, and is Xiamen's easternmost district.
The Zhongsha Islands is a Chinese term for a collection of two skerries, many entirely submerged banks, seamounts, and shoals in the South China Sea. There are no islands in the Macclesfield Bank, the main part of Zhongsha. The Scarborough Shoal, which consists of two skerries, is not contiguous with the Macclesfield Bank but Chinese sources treat them as one chain of geographical features. The whole of the region is claimed by both the PRC and the ROC, and various bits of the eastern parts are claimed by the Philippines. No country has constant control of the whole region, and there are disputes - for example, see the Scarborough Shoal standoff.
Fuchien Province, also romanized as Fujian and rendered as Fukien, is a de jure administrative division of the Republic of China (ROC). Provinces remain a titular division as a part of the Constitution of the Republic of China, but are no longer considered to have any practical administrative function.
Nan'an is a county-level city of southern Fujian Province, People's Republic of China. It is under the administration of Quanzhou City and as of 2023, had a total population of 1,663,542. More than 4,000,000 overseas Chinese trace their ancestry to Nan'an.
Xiuyu District is a district of the city of Putian, Fujian, People's Republic of China. The district executive, legislature and judiciary are in Hushi Town (笏石镇), together with the CPC and PSB branches.
Wangan Township / Wang-an Township is a rural township in Penghu County, Taiwan. It is the second smallest township in Penghu County after Cimei Township. The township is made up of nineteen islands, six of which are inhabited.

Nanri Island, Nanjisü, Nanjih, historically known as Nanni Shan (南匿山) and Nanri Shan (南日山), is a small island off the coast of China. Nanri Town (南日镇) is an administrative unit of Xiuyu District, Putian, Fujian, People's Republic of China which includes 111 islands and islets. The island has more than 50 thousand inhabitants.
Dadeng Subdistrict is a group of three islands under the de facto administration of the People's Republic of China as part of Xiang'an District of Xiamen in southern Fujian, but is also claimed by the Republic of China and historically constituted as an insular subdistrict in Kinmen County (Quemoy).
Binlang Islet is an islet located in Lieyu Township, Kinmen County (Quemoy), Taiwan (ROC). The islet can be seen from the shore near Lingshui Lake and from the shore near Shaxi Fort (沙溪堡) in the southwestern part of Lesser Kinmen (Lieyu) as well as from Siming District, Xiamen (Amoy), Fujian, China (PRC). The highest point on the islet is 47 m (154 ft) above sea level.
Luci Island (Chinese: 鸬鹚岛 / 鸬鹚屿; pinyin: Lúcí Dǎo/Yǔ/Xù; Wade–Giles: Lu2-tzʻŭ2 Tao3/Yü3/Hsü4; lit. 'cormorant island') (also Loutz Island (Lu-tzʻu, Lucih) and Lusi Island (Lusih, Lu-ssu) (Chinese: 鷺鷥島; pinyin: Lùsī Dǎo; Wade–Giles: Lu4-ssŭ1 Tao3; lit. 'little egret island') is an uninhabited island southeast of the Asian mainland in Pinghai Town (平海镇), Xiuyu District, Putian, Fujian, People's Republic of China (PRC) and 9 nautical miles (17 km) north-northwest of Wuciou Township (Ockseu), Kinmen County (Quemoy), Republic of China (Taiwan) which can be seen from the island.
Xiaori Island is an island off the Asian mainland in Xiaori Village, Nanri Town, Xiuyu District, Putian, Fujian, China (PRC).
Haidao Township is an insular township off the Asian mainland in Xiapu County, Ningde, Fujian, China (PRC). The township is immediately north of present-day Lienchiang County, ROC (Taiwan).
Tailu is a town in Lianjiang County, Fuzhou, Fujian, China. Tailu is located at the eastern tip of the Huangqi Peninsula / Beijiao Peninsula (北茭半島) and is bordered to the west by the town of Huangqi and to the south by the East China Sea, across which Lienchiang County, Taiwan (ROC) can be seen.
Huangqi is a town in Lianjiang County, Fuzhou, Fujian, China. Huangqi is located on the Huangqi Peninsula / Beijiao Peninsula (北茭半島) and is bordered to the east by the town of Tailu, to the west by the township of Ankai and to the south by the East China Sea, across which Lienchiang County, Taiwan (ROC) can be seen.

鷺鷥嶼一、島嶼位置 烏坵嶼東離台灣新竹約 81 浬 （約 150 公里）、西距中國大陸湄 洲島約 20 浬（約 37 公里）、離大 陸（鷺鷥島）最近距離約 9 浬（約 17 公里）、南下金門約 70 浬（約 130 公里）、北至馬祖約 72 浬（約 133 公里）、位處金門與馬祖中心 點，與中國大陸南日島相隔 10.6 浬 （約 20 公里）。

85 大佰屿 福建省 泉州市 南安市 24°34′N，118°27′E 0.0599 为大陆岛，由变质岩组成，表层为黄土砂质，植被发育，以木麻黄为主。海岸为基岩岸滩，间有沙质岸、人工石砌护岸。西南部多暗礁，为航行危险区域。 岛上有淡水井。岛上曾开发旅游项目，西北部建有大百屿酒店、郑成功涌泉井碑、小庙以及斜坡码头发电机房、蓄水池、排污管等配套建筑，现已大部分荒废，周围多处搭建有简陋的棚屋，岸边废弃物堆积未清理。山脚下建有未完工的红砖楼，现有部分管理人员在岛上居住。 旅游娱乐用岛 又名"大百屿"

大嶝街道位于厦门市翔安区东南部，隔海北与南安市石井镇毗邻，南与金门岛相对，西南与厦门岛相望，由大嶝、小嶝、角屿三个岛屿组成，总人口约2.6万人，土地面积13.2平方公里，海岸线25.15公里，{...}大嶝，于1958年 "八·二三"炮战中被国务院、中央军委授予"英雄三岛"称号，入编民政部《中国名镇》目录。{...}2005年9月，撤销大嶝镇建制，设立大嶝街道办事处。{...}2002年底中共厦门市市委九届五次全委会通过的《厦门市加快海湾型城市建设实施纲要》，明确把大嶝确定为对台旅游商贸区。{...}一方面加快大嶝战地旅游设施建设，另一方面开辟了"游三岛、登白哈、看金门"的旅游航线，组建了一支豪华舒适的旅游船队。

Located in the southeast waters of Xiamen's Xiang'an District, the Dadeng Isles are comprised of three islands—Dadeng, Xiaodeng and Jiaoyu. Known as the Three-Hero Islands, they cover an area of 13.2 square kilometers, with a population of approximately 20,000 people.
2. {redacted}ChiComs are building a causeway to link Tateng Island, the Communist territory nearest Quemoy, to mainland. 3.{redacted}several thousand troops (recently arrived in Amoy from Shanghai) will be garrisoned on Tateng after the causeway is completed (in next two months).
After a lull of several weeks in artillery duels in the Quemoy area, Chinese Nationalist 155mm howitzers on 28 November fired 240 rounds at a causeway which the Chinese Communists are constructing between the mainland and Tateng Island, four to five miles north of Quemoy. Communist artillery responded with 680 rounds. No major damage was reported. {redacted} 2. The Chinese Communists began constructing the 6,300-foot causeway to Tateng apparently in early November. Such a link with the mainland would facilitate supply of Communist military positions on Tateng. Communist artillery now on the island is believed to include only 76mm guns, but 122mm or larger weapons could take any point on Quemoy under fire.{redacted}
2. The 11 Artillery Regiment is at Ningpo. The 12 and 13 Artillery Regiments moved to South Fukien, and are in Tateng (118-20, 24-35) and Hsiaoteng (118-25, 24-35) Islands and Amoy respectively.
