Dongnanjiao Island("东南礁") is located in the northeast corner of Zhoushanqundao ,76 km from Shengsi County, and is part of the Shengsi County of Zhoushan city. Dongnanjiao is the baseline point of the Chinese territorial sea.

Liangxiongdiyu Island ("两兄弟屿") is located 67 km northeast of Shenjiamen. It belongs to the Dongji Town of Zhoushan city. Liangxiongdiyu is the baseline point of the Chinese territorial sea. 2006, The stele of "Chinese territorial sea baseline point" erected.

The Battle of Dachen Archipelago was a struggle between the Nationalists and the Communists for the control of several archipelagos just off the coast of Zhejiang, China, during the Chinese Civil War in the post-World War II era, and it was part of the First Taiwan Strait Crisis. The PLA targeted and eventually took the Dachen Archipelago, and the other two smaller archipelagos from Nationalists: the Southern Muntjac Archipelago and the Southern Deer Mountain Archipelago.

Changdao County was a county in Yantai, a prefectural area of Shandong in the People's Republic of China. It consists of the Changshan Islands within the Bohai Strait, directly north of Penglai. They are known for their sandy beaches and picturesque limestone cliffs. The total land area measured 56 square kilometers (22 sq mi) and the coastline 146 km (91 mi). The population in 2020 was 40,898. In 2020, Changdao County was merged to Penglai county-level city and became Penglai District.

Beigan Township, is an insular rural township in Lienchiang County, Taiwan (ROC). The township is in the East China Sea off the coast of Fujian Province, China near Fuzhou (Foochow). Beigan Island, the main island of the township, is the second largest island in the Matsu Islands. Other smaller islands in the township include Daqiu Island, known for its Formosan sika deer, and Gaodeng Island and Liang Island which are off-limits to the public. The native language many of the inhabitants is Matsu dialect which is one of the statutory languages for public transport announcements in the Matsu Islands.

Nanri Island, Nanjisü, Nanjih, historically known as Nanni Shan (南匿山) and Nanri Shan (南日山), is a small island off the coast of China. Nanri Town (南日镇) is an administrative unit of Xiuyu District, Putian, Fujian, People's Republic of China which includes 111 islands and islets. The island has more than 50 thousand inhabitants.

Dadeng Subdistrict is a group of three islands under the de facto administration of the People's Republic of China as part of Xiang'an District of Xiamen in southern Fujian, but is also claimed by the Republic of China and historically constituted as an insular subdistrict in Kinmen County (Quemoy).

Gaodeng Island is an island in the East China Sea, part of Beigan Township, Lienchiang County, Fujian Province, Republic of China (Taiwan). The island is closed to the public. Gaodeng is located 9.25 kilometres (5.75 mi) away from the Beijiao Peninsula in Lianjiang County, Fuzhou, Fujian, China (PRC). The island can be seen from the nearby Beigan Island and Daqiu Island.

Luci Island (Chinese: 鸬鹚 / 鸬鹚屿; pinyin: Lúcí Dǎo/Yǔ/Xù; Wade–Giles: Lu2-tzʻŭ2 Tao3/Yü3/Hsü4; lit. 'cormorant island') (also Loutz Island (Lu-tzʻu, Lucih) and Lusi Island (Lusih, Lu-ssu) (Chinese: 鷺鷥; pinyin: Lùsī Dǎo; Wade–Giles: Lu4-ssŭ1 Tao3; lit. 'little egret island') is an uninhabited island southeast of the Asian mainland in Pinghai Town (平海镇), Xiuyu District, Putian, Fujian, People's Republic of China (PRC) and 9 nautical miles (17 km) north-northwest of Wuciou Township (Ockseu), Kinmen County (Quemoy), Republic of China (Taiwan) which can be seen from the island.

Xiaori Island is an island off the Asian mainland in Xiaori Village, Nanri Town, Xiuyu District, Putian, Fujian, China (PRC).

Haidao Township is an insular township off the Asian mainland in Xiapu County, Ningde, Fujian, China (PRC). The township is immediately north of present-day Lienchiang County, ROC (Taiwan).

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Tailu</span> Town in Fujian, China

Tailu is a town in Lianjiang County, Fuzhou, Fujian, China. Tailu is located at the eastern tip of the Huangqi Peninsula / Beijiao Peninsula (北茭半島) and is bordered to the west by the town of Huangqi and to the south by the East China Sea, across which Lienchiang County, Taiwan (ROC) can be seen.
