This is a list of mayors of Wolverhampton in the West Midlands of England, historically part of Staffordshire. [1] [2] Wolverhampton has elected a town council, which in turn has elected a Mayor, since 1848.

David Burgess-Joyce was the Chief Officer of Merseyside Police Special Constabulary. He served from 1982 and was Head of Organisation Development for the Serious Organised Crime Agency from 2004 until he was either dismissed for gross misconduct in 2013 or retired in early 2014. Details of the alleged misconduct were not revealed, but were reported to have potentially involved improper expenses claims. He denied any such conduct, saying "I totally refute any allegations of untoward expenses claims on my part during my time working with the agency," and saying he had actually retired in early 2014 due to ill health.

Glenn Brian Docherty is the third Mayor of the City of Playford in South Australia. He became mayor following the 2010 mayoral election. Docherty is, to date, the youngest mayor of Playford.

The 2016 City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council election took place on 5 May 2016. This was on the same day as other local elections. One councillor was elected in each ward of the City of Bradford Metropolitan District, for a four-year term. Each ward is represented by three councillors, the election of which is staggered, so only one third of the councillors were elected in this election.

Anwen Dawn Muston is a British Labour Party politician, who was elected to Wolverhampton City Council at the 2016 elections, and represents the city's East Park ward. Pink News has reported that Muston was the first openly transgender woman to be elected as a Labour representative. 2016 was her third attempt to seek elected office; she had previously stood unsuccessfully for elections in the city's Penn ward in 2014 and 2015. She was re-elected in 2021 and 2023. Muston did not run in 2024.

The previous Wrexham County Borough all-council election took place in May 2017 and future elections will take place every five years, with the next scheduled for 2027.
