Den store klassefesten is a Norwegian chat show which was shown on NRK1 in 2000, 2001, 2005 and again from 2008. The programme was part of NRK's Saturday night line-up and the presenter was Dan Børge Akerø. Working with him, Akerø had the comedians Øystein Bache and Rune Gokstad who did a lot of the presenting work in the series. The series is regarded as one of NRK's biggest successes of the 2000s and won the prize for best chat show at Gullruten 2002. Previously, Akerø had won the prize for best presenter for the programme at Gullruten 2001.
Forente Artister was a group of Norwegian artists that went together in 1985 to record the song Sammen for livet in order to raise money for the victims of hunger in Africa. The lyrics were written by Halvdan Sivertsen and the melody by Åge Aleksandersen. This project was inspired by Band Aid and Forente Artister was thus part of a large humanitarian initiative. The project resulted in an album which in addition to Sammen for livet also consisted of several newly recorded songs by some of the participators. The song and the project received a special award in the Spellemannsprisen 1985.

The Gammleng Award is a Norwegian culture award created by The Fund for Performing Artists in 1982, 25 years after the fund was established in 1957. The award's official name is the Rolf Gammleng award to performing artists. It's awarded to artists who have in a meritorious way contributed on recordings, stage performances, or concerts.

Lillehammer was previously the host of the 1994 Winter Olympics. Oslo is one of the 19 multi-member constituencies of the Storting, the national legislature of Norway. The constituency was established as Kristiania in 1921 following the introduction of proportional representation for elections to the Storting. It was renamed Oslo from 1925. It is conterminous with the county of Oslo. The constituency currently elects 19 of the 169 members of the Storting using the open party-list proportional representation electoral system. At the 2021 parliamentary election it had 485,656 registered electors.
Hordaland is one of the 19 multi-member constituencies of the Storting, the national legislature of Norway. The constituency was established in 1921 following the introduction of proportional representation for elections to the Storting. The Bergen constituency was merged into the Hordaland constituency in 1973 after the city of Bergen lost its county status in 1972. Hordaland consists of the municipalities of Alver, Askøy, Austevoll, Austrheim, Bergen, Bjørnafjorden, Bømlo, Eidfjord, Etne, Fedje, Fitjar, Kvam, Kvinnherad, Masfjorden, Modalen, Osterøy, Øygarden, Samnanger, Stord, Sveio, Tysnes, Ullensvang, Ulvik, Vaksdal and Voss in the county of Vestland. The constituency currently elects 15 of the 169 members of the Storting using the open party-list proportional representation electoral system. At the 2021 parliamentary election it had 382,305 registered electors.
