The Istanbul Grand Post Office, or Istanbul Main Post Office, is an office building for postal services located in the Sirkeci neighborhood of the Eminönü quarter within the Fatih district of Istanbul, Turkey. It was designed by architect Vedat Tek in First Turkish National architectural style and was constructed between 1905 and 1909. The four-story building houses a post office, the Sirkeci Post Office, office space for regional administration and, also since 2000, the Istanbul Postal Museum. It is Turkey's largest post office building.
M. Hakan Kıran is a Turkish architect, noted for his buildings in Istanbul. He is probably best known for designing the Golden Horn Metro Bridge with Michel Virlogeux, in which he was responsible for the architectural design and the construction supervision. Ege Park Mavişehir Shopping Center was one of the first shopping centres in İzmir, Turkey. It is located in Karşıyaka, covering an area of 18.000 square metres (193.75 sq ft). It was opened on 20 November 1999 as EGS Park Mavişehir Shopping Centre by EGS Holding. This mall was operated by the Turkish clothing industrial company from İzmir EGS Holding from 1999 to 2006. But after the bankruptcy of EGS Holding in 2001 due to the economic crisis in Turkey, the management of the shopping center was transferred to Kâzım Pırlant, a businessman from İzmir living in the United States in 2006. This mall has 115 shops and 1 supermarket. This shopping center was transferred in 2006. The owner of this mall has opened another shopping center in Balçova in 2009.
Beymen is a chain of luxury department stores in Istanbul, Turkey, part of the Beymen Group owned by the Qatari investment fund Mayhoola for Investments.
Akasya is a shopping mall and mixed-use development in Üsküdar, Istanbul, Turkey. The mall has a gross leasable area of 80,000 sqm and was developed on the site of a former car factory by SAF REIT in Acıbadem, a participation of Akiş REIT. The complex contains 1,357 residences as well as the shopping center, with around 250 stores including a hypermarket. The mall opened on March 6, 2014. Stores include department stores Beymen, Boyner and Vakkorama.
İskenderpaşa is a neighbourhood in the municipality and district of Fatih, Istanbul Province, Turkey. Its population is 12,024 (2022). It is in the European part of Istanbul. It is considered one of the most visited areas of Istanbul, as it is located near the shopping center of the city.
