Little Flower Convent Higher Secondary School in Irinjalakuda, in the Kerala state of India, was established by the sisters of the Congregation of Mother of Carmel (C.M.C). [1] in 1923. It is the oldest and largest educational institution in Irinjalakuda. [2] It is the largest congregation of sisters founded by Blessed Chavara Kuriyakose Elias. [3] It is a government aided English and Malayalam-medium school. [4] The school started with lower primary and high school. Later in 2003, higher secondary section was also added to it. [5] It began as a Malayalam-medium school and an English-medium was added later on. The school is primarily for girls and boys are allowed until fourth grade. [6] [7] The school is going to open a new branch in Bathinda, Punjab. The construction work has been started and soon it will be benefited for the students of bathinda.
K. Satchidanandan (1946) is an Indian poet and critic, writing in Malayalam and English. A pioneer of modern poetry in Malayalam, a bilingual literary critic, playwright, editor, columnist and translator, he is the former Editor of Indian Literature journal and the former Secretary of Sahitya Akademi. He is also social advocate for secular anti-caste views, supporting causes like environment, human rights and free software and is a well known speaker on issues concerning contemporary Indian literature. Kesavan Venugopal, better known by his stage name Nedumudi Venu, was an Indian actor and screenwriter from Kerala, who predominantly worked in Malayalam cinema. He acted in more than 500 films, primarily in Malayalam and also in Tamil in a career spanning nearly five decades. He wrote screenplays and directed one film. Nedumudi Venu won three National Film Awards and six Kerala State Film Awards for his various performances.

Euphrasia Eluvathingal was an Indian Carmelite nun of the Syro-Malabar Church, which is an Eastern Catholic Church in Kerala. Euphrasia is said to have had a vision of the Holy Family, at which point the illness she had long felt ceased. She was canonised as a saint by Pope Francis on 23 November 2014 in Vatican City. Since the beheading of St. John the Baptist is celebrated on August 29, the feast of St. Euphrasia is postponed to August 30 .

Fr. Gabriel Chiramel CMI was an Indian Syro-Malabar Catholic priest, educationist, zoologist, author and social reformer, known for his services in the fields of education, health and human welfare. He was awarded Padma Bhushan in 2007 by the Government of India for his contribution to education and literature.
S. N. H. S. S., Irinjalakuda is a school in Kattungachira, Irinjalakuda, in the Kerala state of India, was established by Late Shri C.R. Keshavan Vaidyar and managed by Chandrika Educational Trust. It was established in October 1966. A Teacher's Training Institute was established on 29 April 1963 before the school and it was attached to school later. It is one of the oldest School in Irinjalakuda. Total 49 batches completed in past 50 years. Higher secondary section was added in the year 1991.
