Live at the BBC is a Live two disc compilation album featuring various line ups of the rock group Electric Light Orchestra (ELO). Released in 1999 and featuring various live BBC sessions as well as Live concert segments recorded by the BBC.

Track listing

Tracks 1-4 recorded at The Paris Theatre, Lower Regent Street, London, England on 19 April 1973; transmitted 12 May 1974. Tracks 5-11 recorded at the Hippodrome, Golders Green, London, England on 25 January 1974; transmitted 2 February 1974.

Kevin Ayers

Kevin Ayers was an English singer-songwriter who was a major influential force in the English psychedelic music movement. Ayers was a founding member of the pioneering psychedelic band Soft Machine in the mid-1960s, and was closely associated with the Canterbury scene. He recorded a series of albums as a solo artist and over the years worked with Brian Eno, Syd Barrett, Bridget St John, John Cale, Elton John, Robert Wyatt, Andy Summers, Mike Oldfield, Nico and Ollie Halsall, among others. After living for many years in Deià, Majorca, he returned to the United Kingdom in the mid-1990s before moving to the south of France. His last album, The Unfairground, was released in 2007. Careful with That Axe, Eugene 1968 single by Pink Floyd

"Careful with That Axe, Eugene" is an instrumental piece by the British rock band Pink Floyd. The studio recording, first released in 1968 as the B-side to the single "Point Me at the Sky" also featured on the 1971 compilation album Relics. Live versions can be found on various releases, the most well-known of which from the 1969 double-album Ummagumma. Pink Floyd re-recorded the track for the 1970 film Zabriskie Point, retitling it "Come In Number 51, Your Time Is Up" on the film's soundtrack album. The track was one of several to be considered for the band's 2001 "best of" album, Echoes: The Best of Pink Floyd, but it was ultimately omitted. It includes both of the band's albums The Human Menagerie (1973) and The Psychomodo (1974), as well as all the singles and non-album B-Sides. It also features early alternative versions and mixes of tracks from both albums, as well as live sessions for the BBC, including a John Peel session and on the Old Grey Whistle Test.
