Logan Brown is an American football offensive tackle for the Kansas Jayhawks. He previously played for the Wisconsin Badgers.

Early life and high school

Brown attended East Kentwood High School in Kentwood, Michigan. Coming out of high school, he was rated as a five-star recruit and held offers from schools such as Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State, and Wisconsin. [1] [2] Ultimately, Brown committed to play college football for the Wisconsin Badgers. [3]

College career

Wisconsin

Brown was redshirted in 2019 due to shoulder and biceps injuries. [4] He played all seven games during the COVID-shortened 2020 season, [5] and then played all 13 games in 2021. [6] He made his first collegiate start in week two of the 2022 season versus Washington State. [7] He made three starts in six games that season. However, Brown entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal in October after he was dismissed from the team by interim head coach Jim Leonhard. [8] [9]

Kansas

Brown transferred to play for the Kansas Jayhawks. [10] During his first season with Kansas in 2023, he appeared in just two games[ citation needed ] playing nine snaps. [11] [12] Brown earned a starting spot on the Jayhawks offensive line ahead of the 2024 season. [13]

Personal life

His sister, Jessica, played college volleyball at Western Michigan. [3]

He was invited to the Pro Bowl in each of his first 10 seasons and did not miss a single play in his career until the 2017 season ; his 10,363 consecutive snaps played is the longest streak since the NFL began recording snap counts in 1999. He is regarded as one of the best offensive linemen of all time. In 2023, Thomas was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility, becoming the first Cleveland Brown inductee since their reactivation in 1999.

The 2018–19 Wisconsin Badgers men's basketball team represented the University of Wisconsin–Madison in the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Badgers were led by fourth-year head coach Greg Gard and played their home games at the Kohl Center in Madison, Wisconsin as members of the Big Ten Conference. They finished the season 23–11, 14–6 in Big Ten play to finish in fourth place.
