Lord Buddha Koshi Medical College and Hospital (LBKMCH) is a private medical college and hospital in Bihar, India. The college was established in 2012. [1] The college offers MBBS, MD, and MS degrees [2] . The college is affiliated with the Bihar University of Health Sciences (BUHS) [3] [4] and is recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC). [5] [6] The undergraduate student intake is 150 from 2024 [7] [8]

History

The college was conceived by the Lord Buddha Siksha Pratishthan, a registered society of (Buddhist Minorities), under the Society Registration Act of 1860, Government of Bihar. It was founded by Dr. P. K. Singh in 2012 [9]

The college was previously affiliated with Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University (BNMU) until 2022 [10] Following registration in 2023, LBKMCH became affiliated with the Bihar University of Health Sciences (BUHS). [11]

Facilities

The college campus covers over 35 acres. Some infrastructure is complete, while other facilities are under development. [12] The college includes Clinical & Para-clinical Departments, demonstration rooms, research labs, and a museum. [13]
