It was playlisted by BBC Radio 1 on July 6, 2018. The song was set to be released to US rhythmic radio on July 10, 2018 alongside "In My Feelings". However, its release in the country was cancelled when Republic Records decided to solely push "In My Feelings" to rhythmic and contemporary hit radio stations in the US. Commercially, the song has reached No. 1 in Sweden as well as the top 10 in Australia, Canada, the Czech Republic, Ireland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Slovakia, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Written from the perspective of a friend of Giveon's, the downtempo piano ballad finds him singing about the date of a breakup, reminiscing and grieving about a love gone wrong. The song became a sleeper hit, garnering chart success in early 2021, with a music video subsequently being released, and the song was sent to US radio, in March 2021. It reached number one in Malaysia and Singapore.
"Peaches" is a song by Canadian singer Justin Bieber featuring fellow Canadian singer-songwriter Daniel Caesar and American singer-songwriter Giveon. It was released through Def Jam Recordings on March 19, 2021, as the fifth single from the former's sixth studio album, Justice, which was released the same day. The artists wrote the song with producers Harv and Shndo, alongside Andrew Watt, Louis Bell, Sean Leon, Harv's wife Felisha King-Harvey of Cherish, Vincent Massi, and Keavan Yazdani. There are two remixes of the song: one that features American rapper Ludacris, American singer-songwriter Usher, and American rapper Snoop Dogg, and the other of which features Nigerian singers Alpha P and Omah Lay that is remixed by Nigerian record producer Masterkraft. It was released to American urban adult contemporary radio through XO and Republic Records on January 25, 2022, as the third single from his fifth studio album Dawn FM. The song was written and produced by the Weeknd and Oneohtrix Point Never; with Tomoko Aran [ja] and Tetsurō Oda receiving songwriting credits for the sampling of Aran's 1983 song "Midnight Pretenders". It was released to Italian radio on July 18, 2022, as the album's second single, while in the United States, it impacted hot adult contemporary radio on August 1, 2022, as well as rhythmic contemporary radio and contemporary hit radio the following day. "2 Be Loved (Am I Ready) is a "new wave-ish" pop song, inspired by 70's disco and 80's synth-pop, and has been compared to works by The Pointer Sisters and Hall & Oates.

It was released on 9 September 2022 through Vertigo and Universal and serves as the lead single of his second studio album, Broken by Desire to Be Heavenly Sent. "Forget Me" debuted at number one in the UK Singles Chart, giving Capaldi his third number-one single in the United Kingdom. It was nominated for Song of the Year at the 2023 Brit Awards.
"Lift Me Up" is a song recorded by Barbadian singer Rihanna. It was released on October 28, 2022, by Westbury Road, Roc Nation, Def Jam, and Hollywood Records, as the lead single from the soundtrack album of the 2022 superhero film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The song marks Rihanna's first solo music output since her 2016 studio album, Anti. An R&B ballad, "Lift Me Up" was written by Rihanna, Nigerian singer Tems, Ryan Coogler, and produced by Ludwig Göransson.
