Take Time is the debut EP by American R&B singer and songwriter Giveon, released by Epic Records on March 27, 2020. [1] On the US Billboard Heatseekers chart, it was ranked as number one for three weeks in a row, beginning with January 16, 2021. [2] The EP later peaked at number 35 on the Billboard 200. [3] On March 12, 2021, Take Time was nominated for Best R&B Album at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards. [4]

Robyn Mowatt of Okayplayer said that "Take Time is one hell of a debut. It stands out amongst the auto-tuned, generic R&B music that many artists have become comfortable shelling out". [6]

The Neighbourhood is an American rock band formed in Newbury Park, California, in 2011. The band is composed of vocalist Jesse Rutherford, guitarists Jeremy Freedman and Zach Abels, bassist Mikey Margott, and drummer Brandon Alexander Fried. It was released through Def Jam Recordings on March 19, 2021, as the fifth single from Bieber's sixth studio album, Justice, along with the album. Bieber, Caesar, and Giveon wrote the song with producers Harv and Shndo, alongside Andrew Watt, Louis Bell, Sean Leon, Harv's wife Felisha King-Harvey, Vincent Massi, and Keavan Yazdani. There are two remixes of the song: one that features American rapper Ludacris, American singer-songwriter Usher, and American rapper Snoop Dogg, and the other of which features Nigerian singers Alpha P and Omah Lay that is remixed by Nigerian record producer Masterkraft. "Peaches" marks the first time that Bieber, Caesar, and Giveon have collaborated with each other, although Caesar had previously co-written "Monster", Bieber's collaboration with fellow Canadian singer Shawn Mendes, from the latter's fourth studio album, Wonder (2020).
