Louise Fribo (born 3 July 1970) is a Danish theatre performer, singer, actress and dancer.
Fribo, who studied the violin from age 4 and was trained as a classical dancer from age 7, made her motion picture debut as Lisa in the 1986 Danish feature film Barndommens gade (Childhood's Street) based on a novel by Tove Ditlevsen and directed by Palme d'Or winning director Astrid Henning-Jensen. Fribo attended from 1986 to 1989 the Bush Davies School of Theatre Arts in East Grinstead and made her stage debut in Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical Cats at Operettenhaus Hamburg, [2] where she sang the part of Cinderella in Stephen Sondheim's Into the Woods in the 1990–91 season. Her Danish stage debut came in 1991 as Cosette in Les Misérables on Odense Teater.
Fribo graduated from the Royal Danish Opera Academy in 2003 as a coloratura soprano and had her German opera debut as Zerbinetta in Ariadne auf Naxos on Theater Lübeck in April 2004. Since then she has sung at several theaters in Europe – in 2006 she participated in the Salzburg Festival [3] – and in 2011 she made her U.S. debut singing in the Michael Sturminger opera The Infernal Comedy alongside John Malkovich. Louise Fribo also gives concerts in Danish with Bent Fabricius Bjerre, and she gives church concerts.
She is the voice of the title character in the Danish dubbing of Mary Poppins and Belle in the dubbing of Disney's Beauty and the Beast and its sequels. She's also the voice of Ariel in The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea , The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning and the tv series The Little Mermaid taking over the part from Marie Ingerslev and Sissel Kyrkjebo. She's also the voice of Miss Sensuella from Jungledyret Hugo 2 - den store filmhelt and Sasha the seahorse from Help! I'm a Fish . And also, she's the voice of Milly Olivia Sylvia Jollyland, Ariel, Alice, Cinderella, Aurora, Belle, Rainbow Twilight Brite, Pink Twilight Brite, Purple Twilight Brite, Rare Twilight Brite, Happy Twilight Brite, Pegasus Twilight Brite, and Unicorn Twilight Brite from The Powerpuff Girls' Adventure .
On 24 October 2012, Louise Fribo created the role of Christine Daaé in Love Never Dies at the Det Ny Teater in Denmark. In 2015 she returned there to play the Mother Abbess in The Sound of Music.
She is, since 2013, no longer in a relationship with the father (David Springborg) of their two children.[ citation needed ]

Jodi Benson is an American actress and singer. She is best known for providing the voice of Ariel in Disney's The Little Mermaid and throughout other films, including its sequel, prequel, and television series spin-off, as well as many other Disney works. Benson also filled in for Paige O'Hara as the voice of Belle in House of Mouse and voiced the character Barbie in the second and third films of the Toy Story franchise (1999–2010), and in the Toy Story Toons short Hawaiian Vacation (2011). For her contributions to Disney, Benson was named a Disney Legend in 2011.
Il sogno di Scipione, K. 126, is a dramatic serenade in one act composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart to a libretto by Pietro Metastasio, which is based on the book Somnium Scipionis by Cicero; Metastasio's libretto has been set to music several times. Mozart had originally composed the work at the age of 15 for his patron, Prince-Archbishop Sigismund von Schrattenbach. After the bishop's death before it could be performed, Mozart dedicated it to Schrattenbach's successor, Count Colloredo. It was given a private performance in the Archbishop's Palace in Salzburg on 1 May 1772, although not in its entirety. Only one aria, the final chorus and the recitative dedicating it to the new Prince-Archbishop were performed. It is highly unlikely that it was ever performed in its entirety in Mozart's lifetime.

The Reumert Award is an annual Danish awards ceremony to recognize excellence in theatre achievements in Denmark. The award was founded by the Bikuben Foundation in 1998, and has been handed annually since then. There are 16 award categories as well as 10 talent awards. A jury of ten specialists in theatre selects the recipients, who receive a statuette and a prize. As of 2016, the recipients also receive an amount of money. The recipients of the Reumert Award of Honour receive DKK 200,000, the recipients of the Talent Prize receive DKK 35,000 and all other categories-recipients receive DKK 40,000. The Reumert prize is named after the Danish actor Poul Reumert (1883–1968).

Elly Ruth Guldbæk Degerbøl née Guldbæk Jensen (1919–2006) was a Danish operatic soprano. After training at Copenhagen's Folketeatret and Det Ny Teater, she joined the Royal Danish Theatre where she made her début in 1947 as Zerline in Don Giovanni. After a long series of successful soubrette and coloratura roles, she performed in Covent Garden on three occasions in the early 1950s. Guldbæk was honoured as a Royal Chamber Singer in 1955. She was equally successful for her concert hall recitals.

Anna Guðmundína Guðrún Borg was a Danish-Icelandic actress of stage and screen and autobiographer. The daughter of the Icelandic actress Stefanía Guðmundsdóttir, she grew up in a household where theatre was part of her daily life and began acting at age nine. Borg joined the Royal Danish Theatre in 1928, portraying strong and pure female characters, and also performed in the Dagmar Theatre and the National Theatre of Iceland. She and 11 other people were killed in an aeroplane accident near Oslo in April 1963 and her memoirs were published posthumously the following year. Borg was a recipient of the Ingenio et arti theatre award, the Tagea Brandt Rejselegat, the Läkerol's Culture Award and the Teaterkatten.
