#LoveJo2 is the third EP by American singer JoJo, Released on December 18, 2015 by Atlantic Records. [1] [2] It is the follow-up to her 2014 EP #LoveJo. The EP contains four tracks and was released in honor of the singer's 25th birthday as part of her third studio album. [3]
The song "Thinkin Out Loud" was originally released as an interlude on JoJo's second mixtape, Agápē in 2012. JoJo has stated that insecurity about her vocal performance led her to not release the song in its entirety. The second track on the EP is a cover of Soul II Soul's 1989 single, "Back to Life (However Do You Want Me)" [4] . "Right On Time" is a 1996 single by Donna Lewis, but JoJo had to remove the song from the EP after Donna Lewis threatened legal action. [5] [6] JoJo has since removed "Right On Time" along with a 'Tour Video' of the song due to Donna Lewis threatening legal action. As of January 2025, the entire EP is unavailable to stream on digital platforms for unknown reasons.

Kieran Miles David Hebden, known as Four Tet, is an English electronic musician. He came to prominence as a member of the post-rock band Fridge before establishing himself as a solo artist with charting and critically acclaimed albums such as Rounds (2003), Everything Ecstatic (2005) and There Is Love in You (2010). In addition to his twelve studio albums as Four Tet, Hebden's work includes a number of improvisational works with jazz drummer Steve Reid and collaborations with Burial and Thom Yorke.
Joanna Noëlle "JoJo" Levesque is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. She began performing in singing competitions and local talent shows as a child. In 2003, record producer Vincent Herbert noticed her after she competed on the television show America's Most Talented Kids and asked her to audition for his record label Blackground Records. After signing with the label, JoJo released her eponymous debut studio album in 2004. It peaked at number four on the U.S. Billboard 200 and was later certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), selling over four million copies worldwide to date.

JoJo is the debut studio album by American singer JoJo, released on June 22, 2004, by Da Family Entertainment, Blackground Records, and Universal Records. Incorporating pop and R&B, JoJo was influenced by Ella Fitzgerald, Bobby Brown, and Aretha Franklin. While recording the album over an eight-month period, JoJo worked with producers including Brian Alexander Morgan, Soulshock and Karlin, Mike City, Bink!, Kwamé "K1 Mill" and The Underdogs, among others. JoJo co-wrote three out of the seventeen original tracks on the album. The album also includes a cover of R&B group SWV's 1993 song "Weak".
Donna Lewis is a Welsh singer. She is best known for the 1996 pop hit single "I Love You Always Forever". After performing in a number of girl bands and working as a songwriter during her teenage years, in 2000 she garnered national attention after her successful collaboration with fellow R&B singer Avant, In 2001 her rendition of "Nothing in This World" led to a nomination for the Best New R&B/Soul/Rap Artist award at the Soul Train Lady of Soul Awards. She was featured in all 3 seasons of the show. She also performed with the group at events such as Essence Music Festival.
"Naughty Girl" is a song by American singer and songwriter Beyoncé from her debut solo studio album, Dangerously in Love (2003). It was written by Beyoncé, Scott Storch, Robert Waller and Angela Beyincé, and produced by Storch and Beyoncé. The song was released by Columbia Records as the fourth and final single from the album on March 14, 2004. Musically, "Naughty Girl" is an R&B song that interpolates from Donna Summer's 1975 song "Love to Love You Baby". Influenced by Arabic music, dancehall, funk and reggae, the song contains lyrics that reference to a celebration of sexual lust and conquest, leading up to a desire for a one-night stand.

Jhené Aiko Efuru Chilombo is an American R&B singer-songwriter and rapper. Aiko embarked on her musical career in 2002, as a backing vocalist and music video performer for the R&B group B2K. She was signed by their record label, The Ultimate Group that same year and was marketed as the "cousin" of B2K member Lil' Fizz to cultivate her own following, although they are not related. Her debut album, slated for a 2003 release through the label with Epic Records, was shelved due to Aiko instead further pursuing her education.

"When Love Hurts" is a song recorded by American recording artist JoJo that was intended for her third studio album, Mad Love (2016), and is included on her "tringle" extended play (EP), III. (2015). The song was written by Ammar Malik, Benny Blanco, Daniel Omelio, Jason Evigan, creative team "The XX" and Ryn Weaver, while Blanco and Evigan also handled the production. "When Love Hurts" was the first song from the tringle to be promoted to radio via Atlantic Records. An official remix package was released on October 2, 2015. The song officially impacted Mainstream radio in the U.S. on November 17, 2015.

The song includes additional vocals from J. Rey Soul. Upon release, a lawsuit was issued from Donna Summer's estate, accusing copyright infringement from the unauthorized interpolation of "I Feel Love".
