Lucas Rossi (born 21 December 1994) is an Argentine slalom canoeist who has competed at the international level since 2012. [1]

In 2019, he won the silver medal in the men's K1 event at the Pan American Games held in Lima, Peru. [2] [3] Four years earlier, in 2015, he won the bronze medal in the C2 event at the Pan American Games in Toronto, Canada.

He competed in the K1 event at the delayed 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, where he finished 21st after being eliminated in the heats. [4]

His older brother Sebastián is also a slalom canoeist.

Argentina competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Originally scheduled to take place from 24 July to 9 August 2020, the Games were postponed to 23 July to 8 August 2021, because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The event was won by Jessica Fox from Australia, who already had three medals in K-1 slalom from the 2012, 2016, and 2020 Olympics. Briton Mallory Franklin won silver, and German Andrea Herzog bronze. For both of them it was the first Olympic medal.
