Luda Kroitor is a salsa dancer from Australia. She is a five time world Salsa champion. She also won Australia's Dancing with the Stars twice.

Early life

Kroitor was born in Moldova.[ citation needed ] She moved to Australia at ten years old. [1] At ten years old, she partnered with dancer Oliver Pineda. [2]

Career

Kroitor is the former five time world Salsa champion with dance partner Oliver Pineda. [3] [2] She is known for her role as dance instructor on Dancing with the Stars . [4] She rose to fame after winning Dancing with the Stars series 8, with her partner Luke Jacobz, who was an actor on Home and Away and McLeod's Daughters . She also won while partnered with singer Johnny Ruffo, in series 12. [4]

Kroitor also choreographed for Australia's So You Think You Can Dance. [1] [2]

Personal life

In 2012, Kroitor became engaged to Matt Wilson. [5] The couple had a daughter together in 2014. [6]

Season nine of Dancing with the Stars premiered on September 21, 2009, on the ABC network.

The eighth season of Dancing with the Stars was the first without original host Daryl Somers. Actor Daniel MacPherson was the new host. In a change to the judging panel, Paul Mercurio was replaced. In 2008, only one season was aired instead of two in previous years, the show was moved to Sunday night instead of Tuesday, and it was presented by new producers Freehand.

The sixteenth season of Dancing with the Stars premiered on 18 February 2019. Strictly Come Dancing Live! is a nationwide arena tour in the United Kingdom which was first staged in 2008 and has continued every year since. It is directed and co-choreographed by Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood.
