Jade Hatcher (born 15 January 1990) is an Australian dancer. She competed as a professional dancer on multiple seasons of Australia's Dancing with the Stars , winning in 2009. In 2017, she opened her own dance studio, Hatcher Dance.
Hatcher's parents Gary and Babette were professional dancers. Hatcher began dancing at her family's dance studio at age 3. [1]
Hatcher competed as in Latin and ballroom dance, starting in 2002. [2] Her last Dancesport competition results were in December 2007. [3]
Hatcher joined Australia's Dancing with the Stars at age 19, making her the youngest professional dancer on the show. [4] [1] For the 2009 series, she was paired with country singer Adam Brand. [4] Brand and Hatcher were the winners of the series. [1] In 2011, she partnered professional surfer Mark Occhilupo for season 11. [4] [5] Occhilupo and Hatcher placed ninth in the competition. [6]
Hatcher returned for season 13 in 2013. [7] Hatcher was paired with model Zac Stenmark, one half of the Stenmark twins. [8] The show increased to two episodes per week. [8] Stenmark accidentally dropped Hatcher during rehearsal, causing torn cartilage in her right hip joint. [1] Dancer Sriani Argaet filled in for Hatcher for the remainder of the week, when Stenmark was eliminated, finishing in sixth place. [7] Hatcher's injury was misdiagnosed at first and required multiple surgeries. For the first three years after surgery Hatcher had difficulty with physical activity such as dancing and walking. [1]
In 2017, Hatcher opened her own studio, Hatcher Dance, in Dee Why. [1] Later that year Hatcher performed at a fundraiser for Cancer Council NSW, marking her return to performing following her 2013 injury. [1]
In January 2010, Hatcher became engaged to her Dancing with the Stars partner Adam Brand. [9] The two married in May 2010 and moved to Nashville, Tennessee in the United States. [9] [10] [4] The marriage lasted 18 months and Hatcher returned to Australia. [10] [1]

The X Factor is an Australian television reality music competition, based on the original UK series, to find new singing talent. The first season of the show premiered on Network Ten on 6 February 2005. Ten dropped The X Factor after the first season due to its poor ratings. In 2010, the Seven Network won the rights to the show, and a second season went into production. The X Factor was renewed after the highly successful Australian Idol was no longer broadcast on Network Ten. The X Factor was produced by FremantleMedia Australia, and was broadcast on the Seven Network in Australia and on TV3 in New Zealand. The program was cancelled after its eighth season in 2016.

Maksim "Maks" Aleksandrovich Chmerkovskiy is a Ukrainian-American Latin–ballroom dance champion, choreographer, and instructor. He is widely known as one of the professional dancers on the American television series Dancing with the Stars, on which he first appeared in season two. In his 17 seasons as a competing pro on the show, Chmerkovskiy made it to the final round five times, with two runner-up and two third-place finishes. On May 20, 2014, Chmerkovskiy, paired with Olympic ice dancer Meryl Davis, won his first Dancing with the Stars title. Chmerkovskiy has also starred in the Broadway productions of dance shows Burn the Floor and Forever Tango.
