Luna H. Mitani (born December 22, 1963, in Kushiro, Hokkaido, Japan) is a Japanese-American artist. He works in the fields of painting and pen & ink drawing.

After traveling through more than 33 countries in Europe including England and Ireland, Mitani began his fine art training in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Afterward, he continued traveling around the world for sketching. After completing the training, he became interested in commercial art, and moved to the USA to study commercial art, while beginning his career as a professional artist for the publishers and entertainment industry. He was soon called upon to design and create LP-record, music tape and CD covers for artists such as George Benson, [1] The Platters, [2] Dizzy Gillespie, John Coltrane, Thad Jones, [3] Yardbird, [4] Chet Baker, [5] Wayne Henderson, [6] Dan Moretti, [7] Coale Johnson, [8] The Highland Project, Rue Davis, [9] Bobby Warren, and more. His CD cover works led him to work on designing posters, magazine covers, and comprehensive packaging design.

Mitani has been featured in several exhibitions in Los Angeles, California. After that, he has received a great deal of attention in Japan for his American works and was appointed Head Advisor for the Yoyogi Animation School, the largest animation school in Japan. Mitani has been featured many times in magazines, newspapers and on television in Europe, the United States, and Japan. He resides in Hollywood, California.

Ross is the ninth studio album by American singer Diana Ross, released in September 1978 by Motown Records. The album served as a new album and a compilation, as it was a mixture of old and new songs. Side A consisting of four new tracks recorded in 1978, and Side B of material recorded by Ross between 1971 and 1975, but remixed and/or extended by Motown in-house producer Russ Terrana specifically for the Ross album. Michiko Kon is a Japanese photographer. She was born in Kanagawa Prefecture and graduated from Sokei Art School in 1978. She attended Tokyo Photographic College from 1978 to 1980, after studying mainly painting and printmaking during her years at Sokei. The majority of her photographs are black and white prints with a minimalist background, and often mediate on themes such as death, sexuality, and beauty. She uses unique multimedia and is primarily recognized for her incorporation of sea creatures in her photographs, ranging from salmon roe, fish, octopus, and crabs. Her first exhibition, Still Life, took place in Tokyo at the Shinjuku Nikon Salon in 1985. In 1992 she had her first museum exhibition in the United States at the MIT List Visual Arts Center. She took a several-year hiatus to care for her aging mother before returning to her photographic career around 2014. Some of her more recent work was created in Mexico.

It is part of the Science Adventure series, and is the direct sequel of the 2009 game Chaos;Head NoAH. Joyce J. Scott is an African-American artist, sculptor, quilter, performance artist, installation artist, print-maker, lecturer and educator. Named a MacArthur Fellow in 2016, and a Smithsonian Visionary Artist in 2019, Scott is best known for her figurative sculptures and jewelry using free form, off-loom beadweaving techniques, similar to a peyote stitch. Each piece is often constructed using thousands of glass seed beads or pony beads, and sometimes other found objects or materials such as glass, quilting and leather. In 2018, she was hailed for working in new medium — a mixture of soil, clay, straw, and cement — for a sculpture meant to disintegrate and return to the earth. Sherlock Holmes or Puppet Entertainment Sherlock Holmes is a Japanese puppetry television series written by Kōki Mitani and produced and broadcast by NHK. The puppets for the series were designed by Bunta Inoue. The first series of 18 episodes was broadcast on Sundays from 12 October 2014 to 15 February 2015 by NHK Educational TV (ETV); the first six episodes were broadcast by NHK General TV (GTV) in March and August 2014. A special programme was broadcast on 5 October 2014 while a "Sherlock Holmes Award" was broadcast on 28 December 2014. Each episode was rebroadcast on successive Fridays. The programme won the Japan Sherlock Holmes Award on 22 March 2015.
