Lund Central Station (Swedish : Lunds centralstation) or Lund C is the main railway station of Lund, Sweden and one of the busiest train stations in Sweden. [2] It is located on the Southern Main Line and the West Coast Line.
There is a number of restaurants and convenience stores located in the station. [3] ICA Malmborgs supermarket is located right next to the station. [4]
The station is connected by railway to Kävlinge (Helsingborg, Gothenburg), Eslöv (Kristianstad, Kalmar, Stockholm), and Teckomatorp in the north direction. It connects in the south direction to Malmö, Ystad, Trelleborg and Copenhagen. There were previously direct railway connections to Bjärred and Harlösa. A direct train trip to Copenhagen Airport goes every 15 minutes and the journey takes about 30 minutes. [5]
The station building was built in the 1850s and opened in Feb of 1858. It is one of the oldest still active train stations in Sweden. [6] An expansion during 1872-1875 was drawn by Adolf Wilhelm Edelsvärd and another expansion 1923-1926 was drawn by Folke Zettervall. A significant expansion is in planning phase since 2015. Various options, including a fully underground station are under consideration. [7] [8] [9]
This station is the terminus of the Lund tramway.

The City Tunnel is a 11-kilometre rail link in Malmö, Sweden, running between Malmö Central Station and the Öresund Bridge, of which six kilometres under Malmö city centre is in a tunnel, to increase capacity on the Skåne County network by changing Malmö C from a terminus to a through station. Including necessary connections to other railways it is 17 km (11 mi). It is a part of the Öresund Line to Copenhagen Central Station. The work was projected to cost 9.45 billion SEK. Construction began in March 2005, and the line was inaugurated by King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden on 4 December 2010. Revenue service commenced on 12 December 2010.

It consists of 8 kilometers of railway, including 6 kilometers of tunnel, including three new underground stations: Centralen, Haga and Korsvägen. Östersund Central Station or Östersund C is the main railway station serving Östersund, Sweden. It is located on the Middle Line (Mittbananand) and the Inland Line (Inlandsbanan) and is served by SJ, Norrtåg, Snälltåget and Inlandsbanan- Trains leave for Stockholm a couple of times per day and once a day by Inlandsbanan to Gällivare or to Mora. Norrtåg run regional train services from the station many times per day, west to Åre, Duved or Storlien, or east to Ånge and Sundsvall.
The HH Tunnel is a proposed series of tunnels under Øresund between Helsingborg in Sweden and Helsingør in Denmark. The connection is planned for passenger trains, and other proposals for the tunnels include freight rail and road tunnels.
