Lundby is a small railway town, with a population of 816 (1 January 2024), [1] located in Vordingborg Municipality in the southern part of Zealand, Denmark. Lundby Efterskole is located here.

Lundby Station serves the Sydbanen line, with hourly departures towards Copenhagen.

Mary Adelaide Lundby was a state Senator from the Iowa's 18th District. She served in the Iowa Senate from 1995 to 2009, serving as Minority Leader from 2006 to 2007 and as Co-Majority Leader in 2006. She also served in the Iowa House of Representatives from 1987 to 1995, serving as Speaker pro Tempore from 1992 to 1994. Prior to her election to the Iowa House, Lundby had served as the co-chair of the Linn County Republican party, as a member of the Linn County Republican Central Committee, and as staff assistant to then-senator Roger Jepsen. She graduated from Upper Iowa University, majoring in Political Science and History.

SS Pink Star, the former Danish ship Lundby taken over as an idle foreign vessel in United States ports, was an American-owned ship flying under the Panamanian flag. Pink Star was the seventh American ship sunk by a German U-boat prior the United States entry into World War II. On September 20, 1941, she was torpedoed by U-552.

The Battle of Lundby happened south of Lundby in northeast Himmerland on the 3 July 1864 in the Second War of Schleswig. A Danish company of the First Regiment tried a head-on bayonet charge down a long hillside, but was stopped 20 meters in front of the earth dike that the Prussians lay in cover behind. It was the last battle in the Second Schleswig War, and resulted in great Danish losses.

Værløse is a town in Furesø Municipality in the northwestern outskirts of Copenhagen, Denmark. As of 1 January 2024, it has a population of 13,248. Situated on the west side of the Hillerød Motorway, between Farum Lake to the north and Søndersø Lake to the south, it is surrounded by forest on three sides. Modern Værløse emerged around Værløse station in the 1950s. The original centre of the parish was the village of Kirke Værløse, located three kilometres to the west.
