In 2000, she started her career as a child actor at the age of 10 when she was cast as the lead role in the Mexican children's telenovela Amigos x siempre. She later appeared in Aventuras en el tiempo (2001) and Cómplices Al Rescate (2002).

After thinking about her career, the performer returned to the recording studios in Madrid and London and apart from counting with the production of Chucho Merchán and Paco Trinidad, she also started collaborating with other artists such as Albert Hammond and Carlos Goñi, lead member of the band Revolver amongst others.

This is also her fourth and last album with Hispavox before departing from that label two years later. In this album, Casal turned into a melodic singer. She recorded this album in eight different studios in Madrid, London, Mexico City and Buenos Aires. The performer's executive production team included Nick Patrick, along with the collaboration of other musicians such as the French drummer Manu Katché and the British Nick Igman.

The three videos was directed by Tito Lara from 1992-1997.
