Lwin Moe Aung (Burmese : လွင်မိုးအောင်; born 10 December 1999) is a Burmese professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder or a winger for Thai League 2 club Rayong and the Myanmar national football team. [1] He was once the youngest football player in the Myanmar football team for the SEA Games. [2] [3] He won the Best Male Youth Player Award at the 2018 Myanmar National League (MNL) Awards. [4]
Lwin was born on 10 December 1999 in Thayet Tan village, Amarapura, Mandalay Region. He is the second child of three and he has one older sister and one younger brother. His father is a mushroom trader. He was crazy about football when he was young. He began joining local amateur football competitions that were held annually near Paleik Pagoda close to his village. Lwin studied in Sports and Physical Sciences Institution, Mandalay. [2]
Lwin played in midfield when he arrived at the Sports and Physical Sciences Institution. As he was having difficulties playing in midfield, he tried to get a chance to play on the right-wing, but the manager persuaded him to stay in the midfield, so he remained a midfielder. [2]
In 2018 December, Ayeyawady United signed Lwin from I.S.P.E. He plays 37 international matches, scoring 5 goals for Myanmar U20. The young attacking midfielder proves that he has the capability to distribute from a more advanced position, especially in creating danger for his side.
Lwin joined Yangon United on a two-year loan deal. However, the loan contract was eventually terminated and he did not make a single appearance.
In 2022, Lwin joined Thai League 2 team, Rayong. On 20 August 2022, he make his club debut in a league match against Ranong United. On 10 September 2022, he scored his debut goal against Chiangmai FC in a 2–0 away win. In Lwin first season with the Thai club, he recorded 12 goals and 8 assists in 32 appearances. In the following 2023-24 Thai League 2 season, Lwin scored the only goal in the opening league match against Lampang FC on 12 August 2023. The following match, he picked up an assist in a 1–0 away victory against Krabi FC.
In 2017, Lwin was selected to play for the national youth team. Because of his talent, he was selected for the U-23 side even though he was playing for the U-18 team at the time. Then head coach Gerd Zeise chose him for the first time for the match against Kyrgyzstan, played in South Korea, as the final match of 2019 AFC Asian Cup.
On 19 June 2023, Lwin scored his first international goal against Macau in Dalian, China.

National Team
The Myanmar national football team represents Myanmar in men's international association football and is governed by the Myanmar Football Federation.
The Myanmar National League; abbreviated MNL) is the premier national professional football league of Myanmar. In 2009, the league replaced the Myanmar Premier League, which consisted only of 14 Yangon-based football clubs, with eight professional clubs representing different regions across the nation. On 16 May 2009, the league launched its inaugural two-month tournament, the Myanmar National League Cup 2009 in preparation for the first full season in 2010. Despite its national ambitions, the league held the MNL Cup 2009 matches in the country's two main stadiums in Yangon due to the lack of adequate facilities elsewhere. On 5 July 2009, Yadanabon FC defeated Yangon United FC in the MNL Cup final to become the first-ever MNL Champions.
Hantharwady United Football Club is a professional football club based in Bago, Myanmar and represents the Bago Region. The club was a founding member of the Myanmar National League (MNL) in 2009. It finished in sixth place in the league's inaugural cup competition, the MNL Cup 2009. In 2012, the club changed its name from Okktha United to Hantharwady United. As Okktha United, the club won their first ever major trophy by winning the MFF Cup in 2010.
MNL Cup Grand Royal 2009 is the inaugural knock-out club football tournament of the Myanmar National League. The tournament, held at the Aung San Stadium and the Thuwunna Stadium in Yangon between 16 May and 5 July 2009, was contested by all eight clubs of the newly formed professional league. Yadanabon FC finished on top, one point ahead of Yangon United FC in group stage. On 5 July 2009, Yadanabon defeated Yangon United in the cup final on penalty shootout, to become the reigning champions of the league.
Thiha Sithu is a Burmese professional football player who plays as a goalkeeper for Shan United FC and Myanmar National Football Team. During his career, he played for Ministry of Commerce, Ayeyawady United and Yadanarbon. Kyaw Ko Ko is a Burmese professional footballer who plays as a striker for the Myanmar national team. He scored five goals in the 2011 Southeast Asian Games and helped the Myanmar U23 team to secure a third-place finish and a bronze medal. He is the star striker of Myanmar National Team. He was ranked #7 in the "World's Best Top Scorers" list by the IFFHS in 2014. Considered one of the best players in the ASEAN, he is known for his dribbling, finishing, skill, pace, and ability to play with both feet.He is Yangon United's all-time second-highest goalscorer with 58 Goals.
Sithu Aung is a Burmese professional footballer who plays as left winger for Myanmar national football team and Rakhine United. He has played much of his career as a left back. Aged 13, Sithu Aung joined the youth team of Yangon United, for whom he made his professional debut in 2012 at the age of 16. He got MNL champion 6 times and played AFC Cup 3 time in 2012, 2013 and 2014. He spent three season at Yangon United club, before moving to Yadanarbon FC for undisclosed fee in the 2014 MNL transfer window and making him the third Yangon United player to join the club in 18 months.
Than Paing is a Burmese professional footballer who plays as a forward for Kanchanaburi Power in Thai League 2 and the Myanmar national team. It is held at Aung San Stadium on 3 January 2016.

He also the key player of Myanmar U-20 National Football Team played in 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup. He scored the opening goal of 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
