Dokken is an American glam metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1978. It split up in 1989 and reformed four years later. The band had several hit singles which charted on the Billboard Hot 100, such as "Alone Again", "In My Dreams", and "Burning Like a Flame", and have sold more than 10 million albums worldwide. The live album Beast from the East was nominated for the inaugural Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance in 1989.

Cry of Love was an American rock band formed in Raleigh, North Carolina, in 1989. The group released their debut album in 1993, Brother, produced by John Custer, before hitting the road for the next 17 months. After completing their 1993–94 touring cycle, frontman Kelly Holland quit the band, saying he could no longer handle the rigors of the road. They scored a number-one hit on Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart with "Peace Pipe" in 1993.
Vains of Jenna was a Swedish sleaze metal band formed in Falkenberg in 2005. They later moved to Los Angeles, though most of the band members now reside back in Sweden. In January 2012, the band confirmed on Facebook and MySpace that they had "mutually and amicably" decided to disband.

Singer Oni Logan provided vocals, contributed to the lyrics and composition and also played harmonica. Also joining George was former Dokken drummer Mick Brown. The album had two successful singles, with "River of Love" climbing to the No. 19 spot on Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart and "Wicked Sensation" reaching No. 31.

He joined the band in 1990, only to leave after the release of the first album. He rejoined in the late 2000s, then subsequently left and rejoined several times, with his final stint in the band lasting until their 2020 retirement.
