Lynwen Brennan is an American corporate executive best known for being the co-president of Lucasfilm.

Early life and career

Lynwen Brennan was born in Pembrokeshire, Wales. [1] In 1999, she joined Industrial Light & Magic, where she eventually became its president in 2009. [2] In 2015, she was appointed General Manager at Lucasfilm. [3] In 2024, she was hired as the executive vice president for Lucasfilm. [2] [4] On January 15, 2026, she was announced as co-president of Lucasfilm, alongside Dave Filoni, succeeding Kathleen Kennedy. [5] [6] She is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the British Academy of Film and Television Arts. [1]

Accolades

In 2016, she was also awarded the "Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire". [1] [3] In 2019, she received the "Outstanding Contribution to Film and Television" award at BAFTA Cymru. [7] At the 20th Visual Effects Society Awards, she was awarded the "Lifetime Achievement Award". [3]
