Dark Horse Comics is an American comic book, graphic novel, and manga publisher founded in Milwaukie, Oregon by Mike Richardson in 1986. The company was created using funds earned from Richardson's chain of Portland, Oregon, comic book shops known as Pegasus Books and founded in 1980.

Originally established as Komik Lawak Atau Lawak Creation in 1971, the company previously produced Gempak, a magazine dedicated to showcasing local comic artists from Malaysia to wider audiences. Alongside the United Kingdom, the U.S. manga publishers also sell their English translated manga in other English speaking nations like Canada, Australia and New Zealand with manga being quite popular in Australia compared to other English speaking countries.

Jakob Oetama was an Indonesian teacher, journalist, and businessman who was one of the co-founders and owners of Kompas Gramedia Group, the largest media group in Indonesia, together with P. K. Ojong. He has served as President Director of Kompas Gramedia, Advisor to the Central Board of the Indonesian Journalists Association, and Advisor to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations Journalists Confederation. He was the recipient of the Honoris causa Doctorate in Communications from Gadjah Mada University and the Mahaputra Utama Star award from President Suharto in 1973.
The Daihatsu Sigra is a mini MPV with standard three-row seating designed by Daihatsu and manufactured by Astra Daihatsu Motor in Indonesia since July 2016 to be sold exclusively in the country. The cars were built to meet the "Low Cost Green Car" regulation by the Indonesian government that abolished luxury goods tax for economical cars.
Si Juki is an Indonesian comic series created and authored by Faza Ibnu Ubaidillah Salman or Faza Meonk. Originally published as a webcomic in 2010, the comics follow its namesake character Juki, a deviant young adult male throughout a variety of humorous scenarios and adventures. Published in both print and WEBTOON in addition to various social media platforms, an animated movie has been released based on the series in 2017. an animated series called Si Juki Anak Kosan has been released on Indonesian Disney+ Hotstar on 29 January 2021 and it became the first Indonesian animated series featured on Disney+ Hotstar.

First published through the Instagram account @tahilalats in 2014, the daily four-panel comic is one of the most-followed webcomics in Indonesia, being published primarily via WEBTOON and social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook. The webcomic follows the slice of life genre, generally with the addition of overexaggerated, absurd twists.
