M80 Radio is a radio station in Portugal (and formerly also Spain) playing music from the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s and 2000s.
In Spain, the station began the emission on January 18, 1993 as Radio 80 Serie Oro. In 1994, the name was changed to M80. On November 21, 2018 at 6:40 CEST, M80 Radio finalized emissions in the country, and was replaced by LOS40 Classic.
In Portugal, it started broadcasting in 2007, and is still active as of January 3, 2020. The station is owned by Bauer Media Group.
The FM broadcast band is a range of radio frequencies used for FM broadcasting by radio stations. The range of frequencies used differs between different parts of the world. In Europe and Africa and in Australia and New Zealand, it spans from 87.5 to 108 megahertz (MHz) - also known as VHF Band II - while in the Americas it ranges from 88 to 108 MHz. The FM broadcast band in Japan uses 76 to 95 MHz, and in Brazil, 76 to 108 MHz. The International Radio and Television Organisation (OIRT) band in Eastern Europe is from 65.9 to 74.0 MHz, although these countries now primarily use the 87.5 to 108 MHz band, as in the case of Russia. Some other countries have already discontinued the OIRT band and have changed to the 87.5 to 108 MHz band.

AIR's FM LRS was inaugurated on 1 July 2000 at 06:00 hours in Kodaikanal relaying Madurai programs in the frequency 100.5 MHz. 100.5 was so popular that LRS was upgraded to an FM Channel in just two months. The channel covered a radius of about 200km due to its location at 2200 meters above MSL at Kodaikanal. KODAI FM is popularly known as it is the biggest individual FM channel in India, in both area coverage and listenership.

Red FM is a defunct Malaysian English language-private radio station that used to broadcast across Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore. It was managed by Star Media Radio Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of Star Publications (M) Bhd. Red FM began broadcasting on 1 September 2001 and was one of Malaysia's top five English radio stations.
In Cork, the largest radio stations throughout most of the 1980s were ERI (1982–1988), founded by Joe O'Connor, and the original South Coast Radio (1982–1984), founded by Pete O'Neill and Peter Maher. ERI unsuccessfully applied for a commercial license in the area in 1989 under the name 'Sound of the South.' Subsequently, its studio and transmission facilities were leased to a new licensed station, titled 'Radio South,' in 1989, allowing this new station to be operational relatively quickly. Bel RTL is a commercial radio network broadcasting in Brussels and Wallonia. The station is owned by the Radio H holding company, which is part of the Belgium-based RTL Belgium. It is now owned by DPG Media and Groupe Rossel since 31 March 2022.
