MTV Unplugged is a live album by Polish singer Kayah, released in 2007 by Kayax.
The album was Kayah's first release on her own record label Kayax, and also the first MTV Unplugged album in East-Central Europe. [2] The material was recorded live at an intimate concert for just over 200 people on 28 November 2006 in Łódź, Poland, featuring guest appearances by Polish pop-jazz singer Anna Maria Jopek and American beatboxer Chesney Snow. The performance aired on MTV Polska on 21 December 2006 and was subsequently released on CD and DVD, the latter including two more tracks, an interview with Kayah, and making-of footage. The album reached number 4 on the Polish sales chart and was certified gold for selling 15,000 copies. The DVD was also certified gold for sales exceeding 5,000 items. [3]

She represented Poland in the 1997 Eurovision Song Contest, with the song "Ale jestem" and finished 11th out of 25 participating acts; and in 2002, she collaborated on an album with jazz guitarist Pat Metheny. She has received numerous awards for her music, including Michel Legrand's Personal Award in Vitebsk in 1994, as well as all of the awards for music in Poland, together with gold and platinum records.

Maria Teresa Peszek is a Polish singer, songwriter and actress. She embarked on a professional acting career in the early 1990s and went on to appear in over 40 stage plays, as well as a number of feature films and television series. In 2005, Peszek released her debut album, the commercially successful and critically acclaimed Miasto mania, followed by Maria Awaria (2008) and Jezus Maria Peszek (2012) which both topped the Polish albums chart and received favourable reviews. Peszek is noted for controversial lyrics and subjects of her work, often revolving around sexuality, politics, social norms and religion.

Andrzej Tomasz Piaseczny more commonly known as Piasek, is a Polish singer, songwriter, actor, and television personality. Former Mafia singer, Member of the Phonographic Academy of ZPAV. In the years 1997–2010 he performed in the TV series Złotopolscy, where he played the singer Kacper "Górniak" Złotopolski. His solo career began in 1998. In the same year he performed in a duet with Natalia Kukulska, with whom he recorded the song "You Are Near Me", and also released a solo single "I Know My Way", used in the soundtrack to the movie The Magic Sword – Camelot Legend. Piasek represented Poland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2001 with his up-tempo dance song "2 Long". Since 2008, the artist has collaborated with Seweryn Krajewski.
Łzy are a Polish pop rock band formed in 1996, best known for their early 2000s hits "Agnieszka już dawno...", "Narcyz się nazywam", "Jestem jaka jestem" and "Oczy szeroko zamknięte", among others.
