Kiranmala is an Indian Bengali language television series which aired on Star Jalsha from 4 August 2014 to 19 November 2016. It was produced by Surinder Films and starred Rooqma Ray, Farhan Imroze and Chandrayee Ghosh. It was based on traditional folktales as collected in Thakurmar Jhuli by Dakshinaranjan Mitra Majumder. The series was dubbed into Tamil and aired on Star Vijay. An Odisha dubbed version was aired on Tarang TV.
Bou Kotha Kao ; is a television serial which was aired on Bengali GEC Star Jalsha. It was produced by Ravi Ojha Productions and was directed by Tathagata Mukherjee. It starred Riju Biswas and Manali Dey in the lead roles, and Ridhima Ghosh as the 2nd Female Lead and also in a negative role. It was one of the most popular TV serials of Bengali television as well as Star Jalsha and it was a blockbuster serial. It ended in January 2012. Later it was remade in Hindi as Gustakh Dil. It was re-aired on Star Jalsha during lockdown period, due to COVID-19.

Biswajit Chakraborty, is an Indian film actor who appears predominantly in Bengali movies. He was born in Kolkata, West Bengal. His debut movie was Sunya Theke Suru directed by Ashoke Viswanathan. He has acted in more than a 100 movies including Autograph, Bye Bye Bangkok, Bhooter Bhabishyat and Bollywood movie Kahaani 2.
Shubho Drishti was a popular Bengali television soap opera. It premiered on 1 January 2018. It aired on Colors Bangla. It starred Gourab Roy Chowdhury and Aishwarya Sen in lead roles and Bidipta Chakraborty and Sukanya Goswami in a negative role. The show was produced by Shibaji Panja of Vandana Films and Enterprises. Prasenjit Chatterjee and Rituparna Sengupta played cameo roles in this serial.
Nokshi Kantha is an Indian television soap opera in Bengali that premiered on 12 November 2018 and aired on the Bengali General Entertainment Channel Zee Bangla. The show was produced by Magic Moments Motion Pictures of Saibal Banerjee and Leena Gangopadhyay. The show replaced the popular drama series Andarmahal. It aired its final episode on 10 July 2020. Karunamoyee Rani Rashmoni was an Indian Bengali historical drama television series which aired on Bengali Entertainment Channel Zee Bangla and is also available on the digital platform ZEE5. It was premiered on 24 July 2017. The serial was earlier produced by Subrata Roy and then it was produced by Zee Bangla. It completed 1,000 episodes on its third birthday and 1,500 episodes on 26 December 2021. After a successful run of 4+1⁄2 years, Karunamoyee Rani Rashmoni went off-air on 13 February 2022.

Bommukutty Ammavukku is a Tamil-language drama aired on Star Vijay. It was started on 3 February 2020 and ended on 5 December 2020 with 156 episodes. It is a remake of the Bengali language series Maa....Tomay Chara Ghum Ashena, which aired on Star Jalsha. The show stars Rethva, Rashmitha and Kiran.
Prothoma Kadambini was an Indian Bengali television biographical period drama based on the biography of the first practising female physician of British-ruled India and South Asia, Doctor Kadambini Ganguly. The show was aired on Bengali General Entertainment Channel Star Jalsha and is also available on digital platform Hotstar, that was premiered on 16 March 2020. The show is produced by Shree Venkatesh Films and starred by Solanki Roy and Honey Bafna in lead roles. The show went to off-air on 28 February 2021.
