Karolina Gočeva, sometimes credited as Karolina Gocheva or known only as Karolina, is a Macedonian singer. She launched her music career in 1991 with a performance at a local children's show and continued participating in the following years, receiving recognition for her talent. In 1992, she released her first children album titled Mamo, pušti me. She signed a contract with the record label Avalon Production in 2000.
Kaliopi Bukle, known professionally as Kaliopi, is a Macedonian singer-songwriter. In her career, Kaliopi has progressed from singing lead vocal with her eponymous band in 1980s Yugoslavia to being an established vocalist and composer working in North Macedonia and across former Yugoslavia. She represented Macedonia twice in the Eurovision Song Contest, first in 2012 in Baku, Azerbaijan with "Crno i belo" and a second time in 2016 in Stockholm, Sweden with the song "Dona".
Macedonia was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 with the song "Make My Day", written by Dragan Vučić and Branka Kostić, and performed by Martin Vučić. The Macedonian participating broadcaster, Macedonian Radio Television (MRT), organised the national final Makedonski Evrosong 2005 in order to select its entry for the contest. Five artists were presented to the public in November 2004 and an eight-member jury panel and a public televote selected two artists to qualify to the compete in the competition on 19 February 2005, where "Ti si son" (Ти си сон) performed by Martin Vučić was selected following two rounds of voting from a twelve-member jury panel, an audience vote and a public televote. The song was later translated from Macedonian to English for Eurovision and was titled "Make My Day".
Nikola Kljusev was a Macedonian politician and professor of economics who served as the first Prime Minister of the Republic of Macedonia from March 20, 1991, to September 5, 1992, following the country's independence from Yugoslavia in 1991.

Fifteen entries competed in the competition on 23 February 2008 where "Vo ime na ljubovta" performed by Tamara, Vrčak and Adrian was selected following the combination of votes from a five-member jury panel and a public televote. The song was later translated from Macedonian to English for the Eurovision Song Contest and was titled "Let Me Love You".
Next Time is a rock duo from Skopje, North Macedonia. The duo consists of twin brothers Martin and Stefan Filipovski. Stefan fronts the band as the lead singer, while Martin plays the guitar and sings back-up vocals. The group represented the Republic of Macedonia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow, Russia but failed to reach the final. In their active years, since 2008, they have released three studio albums including the self-titled debut in 2008, Na krajot od denot in 2011 and Majka in 2022.

Macedonian Idol was a Macedonian reality-competition talent show airing on A1 TV, based on the popular British show Pop Idol. The auditions for the first season started in the summer 2010 and the show aired for first time on 13 November 2010. Hosts of the show are Ivanna Hadžievska and Nenad Gjeorgjievski.
Skopje 2014 was a project financed by the Macedonian government of the then-ruling nationalist party VMRO-DPMNE, with the official purpose of giving the capital Skopje a more classical appeal but designed more earthquake-proof. The project, officially announced in 2010, consisted mainly of the construction of colleges, museums and government buildings, as well as the erection of monuments depicting historical figures from the region of Macedonia. The COVID-19 pandemic in North Macedonia was a part of the ongoing worldwide pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2. The virus was confirmed to have reached North Macedonia in February 2020. The initial contagion in the country was mainly connected with the COVID-19 pandemic in Italy as there are circa 70,000 residents of Italy from North Macedonia and resulted in many people returning to North Macedonia, bringing the virus with them. As of 9 July, over 7,000 cases have been confirmed in the country, due to its second wave caused by family reunions during Eid al-Fitr among the Muslim minority and the overall re-opening of the country to organize the parliamentary elections.
The 2020–21 Macedonian Football Cup was the 29th season of North Macedonia's football knockout competition. This edition did not have a defending champions due to the interruption of the previous edition due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
North Macedonia participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin, Italy, with the song "Circles" performed by Andrea. North Macedonia's public broadcaster Macedonian Radio Television (MRT) organised the national final Za Evrosong 2022 in order to select the country's entry for the 2022 contest. Six entries competed in the national final and "Circles" performed by Andrea was announced as the winner on 4 February 2022 following the combination of votes from a five-member international jury panel and a public vote.
The battle of Raduša was part of the wider inter-ethnic conflict known as the Insurgency in the Republic of Macedonia between the Albanian NLA and Macedonian security forces concentrated near the border with Kosovo. The brunt of the fighting happened near the village of Raduša and Bojane villages that guard the roads to the Rašče water supply which supplies water to the capital city of Skopje.
