Mages of Mystralia is an action-adventure video game by Borealys Games. It was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in 2017, and for the Nintendo Switch in 2019. [1] [2] [3]
The game is set in the land of Mystralia and follows Zia, a mage who discovers her magical powers at the beginning of the game. After being exiled from her village due to unintentionally causing turmoil through her powers, she meets a character self-described as the Mentor, who convinces her to travel to a mage sanctuary to improve her skills as a mage. Zia is eventually tasked with preventing a war between an army of trolls and the anti-mage Kingdom of Mystralia, whilst learning more of her destiny and uncovering a more sinister plot.

Reviews for the game have been "mixed or average", with the game currently holding an average score of 74 on Metacritic. [5] Destructoid gave the game a 7 out of 10 calling the game "solid" and stating that it's a "decent adventure with varied combat, cool boss battles, and semi-interesting locales". [9] Game Informer gave the game an 8 out of 10 praising its gameplay, describing it as "engrossing", and calling the in-game magic system as "brilliant". [10]

Shantae and the Pirate's Curse is a platform game developed by WayForward Technologies for the Nintendo 3DS and the Wii U. It is the third game in the Shantae series, following Shantae: Risky's Revenge, and the first to be developed for a home console. It was released in North America on the 3DS eShop on October 23, 2014 and on the Wii U eShop on December 25, 2014, and in PAL regions on both platforms on February 5, 2015. Spirit of the North is a third-person adventure game developed by Infuse Studio and published by Merge Games. It was released on November 1, 2019 for PlayStation 4, then on May 7, 2020 for Windows and Nintendo Switch It was re-released as Spirit of the North: Enhanced Edition for PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on November 26, 2020 and June 29, 2021 respectively. The game contains no dialog or narrative, and is about a fox that gains the powers of a spirit after collapsing from exhaustion. It received mixed reviews from critics, who praised its art design and soundtrack, but predominantly criticized its gameplay and visual performance. The Enhanced Edition received similar reviews, mainly on account of its controls and gameplay. A sequel, Spirit of the North 2, was announced in October 2023.
Rogue Legacy 2 is a platform video game developed and published by Cellar Door Games. It is the sequel to 2013's Rogue Legacy, and the game was released for Windows via early access in August 2020. The full version was released in April 2022, for Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, followed by a Nintendo Switch port in November. The game was released for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in June 2023.
Infernax is a 2D dark fantasy Metroidvania developed by Berzerk Studio and published by The Arcade Crew. It was released on February 14, 2022, for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. The game follows the young Duke Alcedor, who finds his village overrun by monsters upon returning from the Crusades. Infernax received generally favorable reviews. An update to the game, Deux or Die, was released on April 5, 2023, in which another player can join in as Cervul the Squire.
